A radar antenna assembly for a vehicle, including a composite window pane and at least one radar device designed to transmit and/or receive radar beam. The at least one radar device has an antenna unit and an amplifier unit. The amplifier unit is designed to provide an electrical driver signal for the antenna unit, and/or to receive an electrical echo signal from the antenna unit. The antenna unit may be arranged in the composite window pane of the vehicle, the amplifier unit may be arranged on a surface of the composite window pane, and the antenna unit and the amplifier unit are spatially separate from one another and are electrically interconnected via a connecting element arranged in the composite window pane.

Radar antenna assembly for a vehicle, vehicle, and method for producing a radar antenna assembly

A projection arrangement for a head-up display (HUD) is presented. The arrangement has a vehicle windshield that includes an outer pane and an inner pane bonded to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer. The vehicle windshield has an upper edge, a lower edge, and an HUD region. The thickness of the thermoplastic intermediate layer in the vertical course between the upper edge and the lower edge varies, at least in the HUD region, according to a wedge angle. The arrangement also has a projector that is aimed at the HUD region to generate a virtual image at a projection distance of at least 5 m. According to one aspect, a vertical radius of curvature in the HUD region is at least 6 m and a maximum value of the wedge angle is less than or equal to 0.3 mrad.

Projection arrangement for a contact analog head-up display (HUD)

A composite glass for a head-up display is described. The composite glass has an outer pane made of glass and an inner pane made of glass, which are bonded to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer. The inner pane has a thickness less than 1.2 mm, and the thickness of the intermediate layer in the vertical course between a lower edge and an upper edge of the composite glass is variable at least in sections with a maximum wedge angle less than or equal to 0.3 mrad.

A method for measuring blowing structures of a prestressed disc is described. The method has the steps of: (a) irradiating at least one analysis area of the disc with linearly polarized light from a radiation source at an angle of incidence and recording an image at least of the analysis area at an angle of observation using at least one detector, (b) supplying the image to an evaluation unit, and (c) using the evaluation unit to read a brightness profile along an analysis line on the image, to determine the local maxima and the local minima of the brightness profile, and to determine an intensity index by means of the difference between a brightness mean of the local maxima and a brightness mean of the local minima.
