This invention can be used as mini-micro-switching, up to macro switching. An electronic module having several input copper circuit traces, and several output copper traces, or wires, with some traces having disconnects, consisting of drilled holes, which can be bridged by conductive fasteners. This invention is also solving switching of differing functions both in the industry, and after that the product is in the market and the customer requests switching options. Selecting a switching options can be accomplished on a module, by first remove a conductive fastener from one position and attach the fastener in a second position on copper traces. Where the fastener is removed and not re-inserted, an open circuit trace occurs. Thereby accomplishing: selecting, reversing, or switching of one, or of a multiple of circuits.

Selecting switching functions using screw-force, on modules having traces

A brushless, single coil motor without laminations, with an alternate polarity permanent magnetic rotor and a stator having enhanced magnetic properties by soft iron parts backing up both rotor and stator. The stator is having a plurality of wires grouped into packets, where the wires are connected continuously and terminating solely in two free stator lead ends, energized with pulses from a simple electronic circuit, to start and run the motor.

Brushless, ironless stator, single coil motor without laminations

Simple AC circuitry driving a brush-less motor having a rotor consisting of alternate polarity permanent magnet poles, with the rotor journaled in a stator with a like number of wound poles having only two free ends for energizing. The motor is using only two AC electronic switches for starting and accelerating, and an AC switch to run the motor at synchronous speed. It has higher efficiency than previously known circuits, uses less parts and is less costly.

A more fuel efficient automotive generator, then present alternators, because of its better magnetic utilization of its series connected copper windings on its salient stator poles. It also has output options for resistive loads as well as for direct current devises with both options designed for lower cost, smaller physical size, greater electrical efficiency and lower diode losses.

This is a unique, yet simple clip that also serves as a label for identification. It can be attached to a bundle of papers or on a file folder. It can also have adhesives for such attachment either on a permanent or removable basis. It can be used either in an office environment or in a home and can have a writable surface as well as having several embossed alpha-numeric or Braille characters.

A small inexpensive two terminal variable resistance assembly that conveniently changes its resistance when a force of an actuator is applied. It can be made for power applications as well as in miniature dimension versions in values from milli-ohms to meg-ohms. This variable resistor increases its power handling capacity during a decrease in its ohmic value, contrary to present three terminal potentiometers or reostats. It does this by a rolling action that increases or decreases two resistive surface areas in parallel. It could also be used as a variable capacitor.

A U-shaped air bag, the head rest, and scat back prevent whip-lash and also side-impact whip-lash by immobilizing the head and torso during a frontal or side impact crash.

A gas generator with the sole input of air, water and coal that continuously produces hydrogen and carbon monoxide and further reacts these two gases into alcohol. This gas generator/reactor is using its own by-products and is therefore also self sustaining.

An in-expensive method to join metals or other materials by a slug that is compressed or clinched into a punched or machined substantially rectangular slot in two adjoining pieces. The final assembly is flat and of the same thickness as the clinched material. It could be used to advantage in a mitered frame type assembly.

Abutting clinch-joining method

A single coil, direct current permanent magnet brushless motor including a stator including six alternately-wound coils connected into a single coil having first and second ends, the oppositely-wound coils forming stator poles, and six magnets of alternating polarity coupled to a rotor and rotatably journaled in the stator. A sensor, such as a dual output Hall sensor, is used for sensing rotation of the rotor. A drive circuit, such as an H-bridge circuit, is coupled to the first and second ends of the single coil to drive the motor. The H-bridge circuit includes two high-side switches for alternately receiving signals from the Hall sensor, and two low-side switches alternately receiving signals from the Hall sensor. A high-side switching signal can be controlled by an inverted low-side switching signal. A voltage boost circuit is also provided, having capacitors to provide a boosted voltage to alternately turn on the high-side switches of the H-bridge. The capacitors can be charged by an unregulated bus voltage.

Single coil, direct current permanent magnet brushless motor with voltage boost

A fast acting re-settable and low cost circuit breaker without moving parts. It has a magnetic amplification feature, and can also be used as a current limiter or current sensor. The fast acting switching function is provided by a Hall device with a binary output actuated by a coil. It is operating within microseconds and can be used to protect semiconductors from destruction by overloads. Integrated circuit fabrication processes can be used for manufacturing of this invention. This device can be used on both direct current and alternating current.

An alignment and latching apparatus for a drive mechanism for data tape mini-cartridges. The alignment and latching apparatus enables the drive to use a new mini-cartridge while retaining backward compatibility with older smaller mini-cartridges. The mini-cartridges have a plastic top cover and a rigid metal baseplate. For some embodiments, an alignment datum is defined by three reference points on the bottom of the mini-cartridge baseplate. In other embodiments, the alignment datum is split with two reference points on the top of the baseplate and one reference point on bottom of the baseplate. Alignment and latching forces are applied on both the plastic cover and onto the baseplate. In some embodiments, alignment force on the top cover is provided by flat springs. In alternative embodiments, alignment force on the top cover is provided by spring loaded rollers. Alignment force on the baseplate is provided by rollers or cam surfaces, pushing upward if a split datum is required and downward if a bottom surface datum is required.
