Arrangement for preventing mist and ice formation on the side window of

An arrangement for distributing ventilation air in a vehicle includes a ventilation housing with at least one air distribution means for distributing air to a plurality of different outlets. A substantially cylindrical distribution chamber in said ventilation housing has an inlet and several outlets distributed circumferentially in its wall. Within said chamber there is a pivotable flap for controlling the outlets. At least three outlets are arranged within an angular sector of 180.degree. or less, and these outlets open out via separate ducts at given outlet locations in the vehicle passenger compartment.

Arrangement for distributing ventilation air in vehicles

Method and arrangement for providing, in a vehicle ventilating and temperature-regulating system, automatic regulation of flaps for adjusting the temperature of and distributing ventilation air to the vehicle interior. In the system, a ventilation unit has at least one regulatable warm air flap for a heat exchanger mounted in the unit and at least one regulatable air distributor flap for distributing ventilation air to outlets opening out in the vehicle interior. The respective regulatory movements of the flaps are synchronized and made infinitely variable by means of servo means controlled by an electronic unit which receives signals from temperature transducers and, after comparison with signals representing actual and desired interior temperatures, transmits output signals to the servo means for regulating the relative settings of the flaps.

Vehicle ventilating system

A heating and ventilation system for a vehicle, including a ventilation housing comprising two housing halves mutually connected along at least one longitudinal plane, said halves forming together a space for the flow of air and enclosing fan means, a heat exchanger and a number of flap means for regulating the air flow. In the ventilation housing there is mounted a longitudinal intermediate wall between the housing halves. Said wall at least partially divides the space between the housing halves into two part spaces, each including a cold air duct, a hot air duct, a mixing chamber and a distribution chamber for leading ventilation air to different outlets in a vehicle passenger compartment. Said system enables using simple means to obtain individual regulation and heating of ventilation air at different outlets in a vehicle passenger compartment.

Heating and ventilation system for vehicles

A safety headrest is via a holding means connected to the back support of a vehicle seat. The holding means allows the headrest to be adjusted in height relative to the seat. From a web portion on the headrest a forward and a rear leg portion extend downwards so as to embrace the top of the back support to the front and to the rear. In the lowermost position for the headrest said web portion rides on top of the back support. A frame structure of the headrest is connected to a bar slidable in the back support. In an embodiment said bar is adapted for travel under the action of a remote-controlled adjusting mechanism.
