A device for mixing and dispensing a paste, such as bone cement, comprises a housing (H) with a feeding mechanism (), and a cylinder () for mixing a powder component and a liquid component forming the paste. A piston assembly includes a paste feeding member () located in the cylinder, and a tubular member (). A mixing member () is located in the cylinder (), and a mixing rod () extends within the tubular member () of the piston assembly. The mixing rod () is movable in the tubular member () of the piston assembly. The tubular member () is provided with external engagement means (T) by which the paste feeding member () is movable within the cylinder () in a feeding direction. The feeding movement is operated by the feeding mechanism.

Mixing and dispensing gun

An assembly for preparing and dispensing a paste, preferably bone cement, includes a cylinder containing a powder and a receptacle containing a liquid. A piercing device is configured to open the receptacle to allow liquid to flow into the cylinder to be mixed with the powder. The receptacle is collapsed by a differential pressure between the cylinder and the receptacle.

Method and assembly for preparing and dispensing a paste

The present invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing a liquid foodstuff product from a container, wherein a hose member of elastic and resilient material is connectable with the container such that product can be made to flow from the container into the hose member. The hose member is compressible in order to dispense product therefrom and it is designed so as to regain, by its own resilience, an original shape after compression thereof. A check valve is arranged to close in order to prevent product, upon compressing the hose member, from flowing back from the hose member to the container, and a discharge valve is arranged to open so as to allow dispensing of product from the hose member and to close when so done.

Dispensing device

The present invention relates to a device for discharge of liquid or substantially liquid products (), preferably foodstuffs, e.g. mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup or dressing, from a compressible container () made of flexible material, preferably of plastic bag type. The container () is placed in an outer container () and is compressible by a compression device () in order to feed product () out therefrom through a nozzle (). The invention is characterised in that a compression means () which forms part of the compression device () is disposed on a piston () adapted to being subjected to movements in a portioning direction (P) so that the movable compression means () squeezes the container () in the outer container (), and that the piston with its compression means () can perform a return movement in a return direction (P) which is opposite to the portioning direction (P).

Device for discharging liquid or substantially liquid products from a compressible container of flexible material

A device for feeding out liquid or substantially liquid contents from a storage container () comprises an outfeed container () for the storage container and a discharge means () for outfeed of the contents from the storage container by squeezing it. The storage container () has an inner connecting element () for connection to an outer connecting element () by the latter's penetration of the container wall at the inner connecting element. The storage container () is connected via the outer connecting element () to a valve means () with a valve body () which in a resting position abuts against a valve seat and which, for outfeed, is open able by the contents of the storage container being pressed against the valve body so that the latter leaves the valve seat. The valve body () has elastic properties and a normal shape when it abuts against the valve seat so that it closes the valve means (). For outfeed, the valve body () assumes a stretched shape and leaves the valve seat. The valve body () quickly reverts from stretched to normal shape when the pressure upon it from the contents of the storage container () ceases. The discharge means () of said device comprises a pressure means () and a pressure application means () which, via the pressure means, exerts upon the storage container () in the outfeed container () a pressure for outfeed of the contents from the storage container.

Device for discharge or outfeed and discharge means for such device

The present invention concerns a coupling arrangement for coupling a withdrawal arrangement () to a package () with liquid or essentially liquid contents (), which withdrawal arrangement () is intended for the removal of the contents () from the package (). The coupling arrangement () comprises not only an inner coupling device () that is arranged within the package () but also an outer coupling device () that is arranged on the withdrawal arrangement (). The outer coupling device () comprises a tube section () with which the unbroken part () of the wall of the package () can be broken and that can be introduced into the hole () in the outer part () of the inner coupling device () in order to be coupled to this such that the contents () in the package () can be withdrawn through the tube section (). At least one protruding part () is arranged on the outer coupling device (). At least one space () is arranged in the outer part () of the inner coupling device (). The protruding part () can be introduced into the said space () without breaking the unbroken part () of the wall ().

Fitment

The present invention relates to a connecting device for connecting discharge devices to packages () with liquid products, preferably foodstuff products, for discharging the products from the packages (). The connecting device includes two connecting members which can be connected to each other, namely a first connecting member () which has a hole (), the hole being closed by means of a closing member (), and a second connecting member having a tubular member by means of which the closing member () can be penetrated for opening the first connecting member (). The tubular member can be inserted into the hole () and pressed onto edge portions () of the hole () in the first connecting member (). The hole () has four, five or six corners () and edge portions () which extend between the corners and the tubular member is designed to fit with the hole (). The edge portions (andrespectively) of the hole () and the tubular member () respectively, are concave and arcuate relative to the centre (Cand Crespectively) of the hole () and the tubular member () respectively, and the concave and arcuate edge portions (andrespectively) of the hole () and the tubular member () respectively, connect to each other for defining the corners (andrespectively) of the hole () and the tubular member () respectively.

Connecting device

The present invention relates to a spacer at connecting devices which are adapted to connect discharge devices () to packages () with liquid products (), preferably foodstuff products, for discharging the products () from the packages (). The spacer () is provided on a connecting means () and is adapted to be located in the package () in order to, during emptying of the package, keep wall portions thereof at a distance from a connecting device () such that the wall portions do not prevent or substantially obstruct emptying of the package (). The spacer () has resilient properties and can be pressed into a space () in a tube member () and spring back to a normal shape (NF).

Spacer at a connecting device

The present invention relates to a spray head for spreading liquid or semi-liquid products, preferably foodstuff. A product feeder () is provided to feed or convey a product () through a feed conduit () from a product container () to the spray head () and spraying nozzles () are provided to spread the product () when it is discharged from the spray head (). The spray head () comprises three separate members, namely an upper coupling member (), a lower coupling member () and a nozzle member () provided therebetween. The upper coupling member () is connected to the lower coupling member () and to the feed conduit (). The nozzle member () and/or the upper coupling member () define, when the upper and lower coupling members () are interconnected, distributing spaces () for distributing product (). The spraying nozzles () of the nozzle member () are provided to open and to close. The nozzle member () is removable from the upper and lower coupling members () when these members have been disconnected from each other.

Spray head

The present invention relates to a device at packages, coupling members and method for application of a coupling member. The device comprises coupling members () with non-circular coupling portions () which fit together only if they have the same non-circular shape. The non-circular coupling portions () are also located relative to the package () such that a conduit () for discharging product () from the package () attains a predetermined position in relation thereto or the conduit () can be rotated to such a position.

The present invention relates to dispensing device for dispensing portions of liquid foodstuff from a foodstuff container. Opening and closing device for containers
