A fuel tank for a motor vehicle. The fuel tank includes a tank having an external casing having an opening and a forming zone in a region about the opening, the forming zone having a first forming zone region that is deformed in comparison to a shape of the external casing surrounding the forming zone and a second forming zone region on a periphery of the opening that is deformed greater than the deformation in the first forming zone region. The fuel tank also includes a filler neck for filling the tank, the filler neck leading into an opening of the external casing and being welded to the external casing by way of a weld seam that is accessible from outside the tank, the filler neck in the region of the opening being deformed greater than the deformation than the deformation of the second forming zone region.

A fuel tank for a truck, the fuel tank having a fuel tank body with a peripheral wall and end walls that define at least one receptacle to receive a liquid or gaseous medium. At least one baffle is fixedly attached to the inside surface of the peripheral wall via an inner fixing member. An outer fixing member is to fixedly attach the fuel tank body to the chassis of the truck, and is also connected to the inner fixing member through the peripheral wall.

A fuel tank apparatus for a motor vehicle that includes a fuel tank and a filling module configured for connection to the fuel tank. The filling module includes a fuel accumulator and a filler neck configured for fluidic connection to the fuel accumulator in such a way that permits filling to occur place via the filler neck exclusively into the fuel accumulator.

Fuel tank device

A fuel reservoir with a diesel tank for receiving diesel fuel and a reduction agent tank for receiving urea. A partition wall is provided between the diesel tank and the reduction agent tank, and a diesel return line extends into the diesel tank. The diesel tank is fitted with a wash plate which has at least one passage opening and lies opposite the partition wall forming a diesel preheating chamber. The at least one passage opening is arranged in the wash plate such that diesel from the diesel return line is captured and held in the diesel preheating chamber.

Fuel reservoir

The invention relates to a compressed air tank for utility vehicles, comprising a tubular or cylindrical jacket sealed at both ends by way of welded outer bases. At least one outer base and/or the jacket is provided with a hole. A sleeve is welded onto the hole. At least the inside of the compressed air tank is provided with an inner coating. The contact surfaces between the jacket and the outer bases are adapted such that the contact surfaces abut one another and such that the contact surfaces can be welded together without using any weld material through laser welding. The sleeve is welded onto the hole by way of laser welding or CD welding. The inner coating of the tank is manufactured by powder coating.
