An accessory comprises at least one first electrical accessory port for connection to a respective matching electrical coil port of an MR coil and at least one second electrical accessory port for connection to a respective matching electrical device port of an MR device. The first accessory port and the second accessory port do not match one another. The respective first accessory port is connected to the associated second accessory port by electrical adaptation.

Connection of coils to an MR device

A magnetic resonance coil for transmitting and/or receiving magnetic resonance signals is provided. The magnetic resonance coil includes at least two overlapping coil elements. Coil conductors of the at least two overlapping coil elements intersect in intersection regions and are arranged on a support. Mutually overlapping coil elements of the at least two overlapping coil elements are arranged on different sides of the support. The support is formed from at least three layers of a support material. A cavity that is filled with air or a filler material, the dielectric constant of the filler material being lower than the dielectric constant of the support material, is provided in the intersection regions in a middle layer of the at least three layers.

Magnetic resonance coil with overlapping coil elements

A local coil for a magnetic resonance tomography device includes a plurality of antenna elements. Each antenna element of the plurality of antenna elements has two conductor tracks. The conductor tracks are disposed on opposite sides of an insulator and are connected electrically conductively to one another by plated through-holes through the insulator. In areas, in which conductor tracks of at least two antenna elements of the plurality of antenna elements cross, at least one antenna element of the at least two antenna elements only has a conductor track on one side of the insulator.

Local coil

A standing wave trap for a magnetic resonance tomography system includes a local coil connecting lead and at least one flexible printed circuit board in the local coil connecting lead. The local coil connecting lead is wound.

A plug block module for a surface coil for a magnetic resonance tomography apparatus has a plug block body with contacts for connection lines that can be connected with a magnetic resonance tomography apparatus, an adapter plug that can be inserted into an adapter plug of the surface coil, a surface coil connector device that fixes the plug block module to the surface coil, and a connection between the plug block and the adapter plug.

Magnetic resonance surface coil

A field distribution correction element for positioning on an examination subject in a magnetic resonance system for local influencing of the radio-frequency field distribution during a magnetic resonance acquisition has a system of electrically conductive dipole strips essentially running in parallel, arranged on a carrier element. In a corresponding method for generation of magnetic resonance exposures of an examination subject in a magnetic resonance system, for local influencing of the radio-frequency field distribution, such a field distribution correction element is positioned on the patient.

In a method and arrangement for local manipulation of a Bfield in a first region of an examination subject in an examination volume of a magnetic resonance system, a Bmeasurement value that represents the Bfield in the sub-volume during an adjustment measurement is integrally determined, and in desired radio-frequency signal parameters for a subsequent magnetic resonance measurement are predetermined on the basis of the determined Bmeasurement value. At least during the adjustment measurement, the Bfield is influenced within a second region counter to the manipulation intended in the first region by means of an auxiliary coil element which is arranged in or at the second region of the sub-volume remote from the first region.
