A tool basic module for use with at least one attachment device includes a drive unit, a main output shaft having a shaft receptacle for at least partially receiving a main input shaft of the attachment device, and a coupling device, which has a mechanical interface for mechanically connecting the attachment device to the main output shaft with respect to driving and an electrical interface for transferring electric power and/or an electric current. The mechanical interface is at least in particular substantially cylindrical and has a plurality of interlocking connection elements, which in particular are uniformly arranged on an outer periphery of the mechanical interface and are provided for torque support of the attachment device.

Tool basic module

A guide rail for a portable power tool includes a releasable connecting device and at least two individual rails which are to be joined together to form a common rail and which can be locked together via the releasable connecting device. The releasable connecting device includes at least one connecting latch on a first individual rail of the at least two individual rails. The connecting latch is adjustable between a locking position and a release position. The connecting latch, for shifting from the locking position into the release position, performs a movement relative to the first individual rail on which the connecting latch is held. The connecting latch is engaged in the locking position with a locking counterpart arranged on a second individual rail of the at least two individual rails.

Guide rail for a portable power tool

A system is comprised of a chip catcher and a safety guard for a power tool that generates chips, in particular a hand-guided power tool, having an inlet region for admitting a flow of air containing a chip/air mixture and for detachably connecting a chip ejector and having an inlet region for admitting a flow of air containing a chip/air mixture and for detachably connecting to a chip ejector and having an encompassing housing that is provided for attachment to the safety guard. The housing contains an air outlet spatially separate from a chip-collecting region for chips.
