Oscillation damper for damping fluid oscillation in a hydraulic

An oscillation damper that has a cup-shaped elastomer diaphragm body, with a bottom diaphragm. The diaphragm body is received tightly on an opening side in a bore of a housing, and fits around a protrusion of a closure body that closes the bore. Between the closure body and the diaphragm, a support body having an end face that is concave toward the diaphragm is received in the diaphragm body. A void formed between the diaphragm and the support body communicates with the atmosphere, through a conduit embodied on the support body and through an opening in the closure body. The oscillation damper can be used in hydraulic slip-controlled motor vehicle brake systems.

Damper for damping fluid oscillations in a hydraulic, slip-controlled

A known shock absorber including a throttle cross section of a throttle passage which is electrically variable via a magnet, to adjust damping of fluid between separate work chambers. If the magnet has no current in the event of an electrical defect, then the throttle cross section of the throttle passage attains its minimum opening, and maximum damping is attained the shock absorber includes a different further throttle passage which is uncovered in the event of an electrical defect. As a result, in the event of an electrical defect an arbitrarily preselectable, preferably approximately average damping is brought about by the further throttle passage.

Shock absorber

A cylinder including a control slide supported in a piston in a cylinder. The control slide is supported in a slide guide, the slide guide is supported in a valve housing with a play. The provision of the play has the advantage that deformation of the valve housing has no influence on a gap between the control slide and the slide guide. The proposed cylinder is intended in particular for use as a shock absorber for vehicles.

The invention is directed to a shock absorber in which the structure of both the main valve and the pilot control valve is simplified, and makes their operation less vulnerable to malfunction because the number of parts moved relative to one another is reduced. This is achieved by functionally uniting the valve plate and pressure plate in an especially embodied novel valve plate, in the form of an annular shim with a fingerlike toothed contour of the inside circumference, which pierces a corresponding contour of an axial region of a stroke limiter, as a result of which a guidance of the valve plate quite close to the force introduction points by means of a spring or the openings to be closed takes place, thereby preventing unilateral opening of a valve plate. The relief piston is sealed off from the pilot control chamber by means of one gap seal and one sealing ring, so that the production tolerances can be greater and as a result an original-shape method without remachining is possible in manufacture.

Pilot-controlled shock absorber

A hydraulic brake system is proposed for motor vehicles which is equipped with a pump element for generating a pressure in the fluid. The pump is continuously driven by the generator of the motor vehicle during the operation of the vehicle and thus continuously supplies fluid against the closing force of an overflow valve. This kind of pressure generation is applicable both in an auxiliary-force brake system as shown in FIG. 1 and in an external-force brake system as shown in FIG. 2.

What follows is the description of an improved hydraulic apparatus for the automatic adjustment of the inclination of the headlights of a motor vehicle, the adjustment being a dependent function of the axle load. The apparatus has a level sensor at each axle and each level sensor contains one metering piston and two positioning pistons. The rear axle level sensor is connected via two separate hydraulic lines to the front axle sensor, and the front axle sensor is in turn connected via two separate hydraulic lines to the positioning elements of the headlight housings. The internal construction of the two level sensors is substantially identical and is chosen such that the system is also suitable for manual adjustment.

A leveling control mechanism for motor vehicles includes an electric pump and a solenoid valve for raising and lowering the vehicle body and a leveling switch with an electronic damping device. The periodic measurement of the distance from the vehicle axle to the vehicle body is carried out by a mechanical-electrical converter, which converts the rotation of a shaft into an electrical signal. During acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle, as well as during the occurrence of centrifugal forces, suitably situated inertial switches inhibit the response of the leveling control mechanism.
