The invention relates to an exhaust gas turbocharger having a hydrodynamic plain bearing or a hydrodynamic plain bearing, comprising a rotor () and a counter-bearing part () assigned to the rotor (), wherein a rotor bearing surface of the rotor () and a counterface of the counter-bearing part () face each other to form the hydrodynamic plain bearing in the form of a combined journal—thrust bearing, having a continuous hydrodynamically load bearing gap formed between the rotor bearing surface and the counterface, wherein the rotor bearing surface and/or the counterface, when cut longitudinally and through the axis of rotation (R) in sectional view, form(s) a bearing contour forming merging contour sections (tototo) to generate hydrodynamic load capacities in both the radial and the axial direction, wherein a contour section () in sectional view in a first bearing area forms a linear section that is part of a, in particular cylindrical or partially cylindrical, bearing section rotating at least sectionally about the axis of rotation (R), wherein a further contour section (), in sectional view in a second bearing area, forms a further linear section, which is part of a further bearing area rotating at least sectionally about the axis of rotation (R), wherein this further linear section forms an angle with the axis of rotation (R), and wherein the first and the second bearing area merge via a transition section. According to the invention, a friction-optimized bearing system is to be created, which is easy to manufacture and ensures a reliable and effective bearing arrangement even under highly dynamic loads. According to the invention, this is achieved by the further linear section forming an angle in the range from >30° to <90° with the axis of rotation (R).

Exhaust gas turbocharger having a hydrodynamic plain bearing or a hydrodynamic plain bearing

The invention relates to a compressor () for generating a compressed air flow for a fuel cell (), having a compressor element (), in particular a compressor wheel, wherein the compressor element () is coupled in a to a drive shaft () for co-rotation, the drive shaft () being driven by a motor (), in particular an electric motor, wherein at least one hydrodynamic or hydrostatic bearing () is used to mount the shaft () in a rotatable manner, wherein the plain bearing () is connected to a lubricant supply means (), which is used to supply a lubricant for hydrodynamic or hydrostatic pressure generation to the plain bearing (), wherein the lubricant is water or a fluid mixture, predominantly comprising water, wherein the plain bearing () has a lubricant inlet and a lubricant outlet, wherein the lubricant can be routed to the plain bearing () via the lubricant inlet and the lubricant can be discharged from the plain bearing () via the lubricant outlet, and wherein a discharge area of the circulation system () is disposed in the area of the lubricant outlet. An operationally safe design can be implemented for such a compressor if provision is made for the cross-section area of the outlet of the liquid outlet of the plain bearing () to be completely covered by the lubricant held in the discharge area.

Compressor

An exhaust gas turbocharger having a hydrodynamic plain bearing or a hydrodynamic plain bearing, comprising a rotor () and a counter-bearing part () assigned to the rotor (), wherein a rotor bearing surface () of the rotor () and a counter-surface of the counter-bearing part () face each other to form a hydrodynamic plain bearing, wherein the rotor bearing surface and/or the counterface, when cut along and through the axis of rotation (R) in sectional view, form(s) a continuous bearing contour forming at least two contour sections (toto) to provide hydrodynamic load capacities in both radial and axial directions, and wherein the counter-bearing part () is mounted in a bearing housing () or housing part. In order to be able to provide such an exhaust gas turbocharger with a compact and efficient bearing arrangement having a hydrodynamic plain bearing, wherein at the same time the hydrodynamic plain bearing can be easily mounted with a small number of parts, provision is made according to the invention that in that a preferably circumferential gap area () for forming a trapped oil film is formed between an outer contour of the counter-bearing part () and the bearing housing () or the housing part, wherein the gap area () is spatially connected to a lubricant guide channel (), and in that the gap area () and the continuous bearing contour of the rotor () and/or of the counter-bearing part () overlap at least sectionally in the direction of the axis of rotation (R).

The invention relates to an exhaust gas turbocharger having a fluid dynamic bearing having a rotor () and a counter-bearing part () assigned to the rotor (), wherein a rotor bearing surface of the rotor () and a counterface of the counter-bearing part () face each other, to form a fluid dynamic bearing, wherein the rotor bearing surface and/or the counterface form(s) a continuous bearing contour when cut longitudinally and through the axis of rotation (R) in sectional view, which bearing contour(s) are formed of at least two contour sections (toto) to generate fluid dynamic load capacities in both the radial and the axial directions, wherein the bearing surface of the rotor () is formed by a rotor part (), which is connected to a rotor shaft () and is secured on the rotor shaft (), and wherein the rotor part () is supported relative to the rotor shaft () in the area of a support section () of the rotor shaft (). In order to be able to provide such an exhaust gas turbocharger with a compact and efficient bearing arrangement having a fluid dynamic bearing, wherein at the same time the fluid dynamic bearing can be easily mounted using few parts, provision is made according to the invention that the support section () and at least one of the contour sections (to) of the counter-bearing part () at least sectionally overlap in the direction of the axis of rotation (R).

Turbocharger with a fluid-dynamic slide bearing, or fluid-dynamic slide bearing

A bearing bushing for a charging device may include an inner jacket surface including at least two radial depressions. A respective lowest point of the at least two radial depressions may be disposed on a circle having a radius R1. A plurality of plateau surfaces may be disposed circumferentially between the at least two radial depressions and may be offset radially towards an inside of the bearing bushing. The plateau surfaces may be curved and may have a constant radius R2. A ratio between the radius R1 and the radius R2 may correspond to the relationship: R1/R2=1.001 to 1.015.

An axial bearing may include a body having a disk-form configuration, a centrally disposed passage opening extending axially into the body structured to receive a shaft, and at least one circular segmental oil pocket opening towards the passage opening. The at least one oil pocket, in both circumferential directions relative to the body, may transition into a plateau surface section directly adjoining the at least one oil pocket.

Axial bearing

A bearing housing for an exhaust gas turbocharger may include a bearing housing cover arranged on a bearing housing wall. The bearing housing cover may include a penetrating rotation-symmetrical sealing recess with a centre axis and may have a locating surface facing the bearing housing wall and radially extending from the centre axis. The bearing housing may include a sealing bush arranged in at least one region of the sealing recess. The sealing bush may have a stop surface arranged opposite the locating surface and may include a penetrating shaft recess disposed rotation-symmetrical relative to the centre axis. The bearing housing cover may further include an at least partly circulating groove disposed on the locating surface radially spaced from the centre axis. The groove may include a drainage region arranged below the centre axis and extending from the centre axis radially to an outside.

Bearing housing and an exhaust gas turbocharger with such a housing

A hydrodynamic plain bearing having a stator and a rotor rotatable with respect to the stator, a rotor bearing surface being located opposite a counter-surface of the stator in order to generate hydrodynamic pressure. The rotor bearing surface and/or the counter-surface constitutes in a section view, in the context of a section along and through the rotation axis, a continuous bearing contour that is constituted from at least two contour segments. The contour segments are suitable for generating hydrodynamic load capacity in a radial and axial direction. The contour segments are led into one another, by at least one transition segment, in such a way that hydrodynamic load capacity is generatable via the contour segments and the transition segment. The plain bearing is embodied as a multiple-surface plain bearing having two or more lubrication wedges in the region of the contour segments and of the transition segment.
