A single-component adhesive composition includes: an aqueous acrylic polymer dispersion comprising water and at least one water-dispersed acrylic polymer P; between 0.2 wt.-% and 2.0 wt.-%, preferably between 0.5 wt.-% and 1.5 wt.-%, based on the total composition, of at least one water-dispersed or water-dissolved cross-linker C that can react with carboxylate groups; and between 20 wt.-% and 60 wt.-%, based on the total composition, of at least one filler F with the mean particle size D50 of its primary particles being ≤10 μm, wherein said at least one water-dispersed acrylic polymer P contains free carboxylic acid groups. The composition is highly suitable as adhesive for floor coverings and shows good tack in the wet state and at the same time enables excellent dimensional stability of the bonded floor coverings.

Water-based dispersion floor adhesive with high dimensional stability

A single-component sealant or adhesive composition, including: an aqueous polymer dispersion including water and at least one water-dispersed polymer P, at least one water-dispersed or water-dissolved epoxy- or isocyanate-functional cross-linker C with a nominal epoxy- or isocyanate-functionality of at least 2, wherein the at least one water-dispersed polymer P has functional groups selected from carboxylic acid groups, amino groups, and hydroxyl groups, and wherein the epoxy- or isocyanate-functional cross-linker C has a molecular weight of at least 1000 g/mol or a number average molecular weight M, determined by means of GPC against polystyrene as standard, of at least 1000 g/mol, and wherein the composition includes between 0.1 and 50, preferably between 0.1 and 10 parts by weight of said epoxy- or isocyanate-functional cross-linker C per 100 parts by weight of the at least one water-dispersed polymer P.

Water-based composition with chemical cross-linking

A composition including: a first component A, includes: between 68 and 99.9 wt.-% of an aqueous dispersion of at least one polymer, the aqueous dispersion including the polymer with an amount of between 20 and 90 wt.-%; between 0 and 2 wt.-% of a nonionic or ionic dispersing agent; a second component B, includes: between 10 and 30 wt.-% of a nonionic, non-aqueous liquid carrier, between 0 and 20 wt.-% of calcium sulfate, between 10 and 89.9 wt.-% of at least one hydraulic binder, between 0 and 10 wt.-% of a thixotropy agent; wherein both components A and B are prepared and stored separately and mixed directly before application; and with the proviso that the first component A furthermore includes: between 0.1 and 15 wt.-% of a monovalent metal salt, and the second component B furthermore comprises: between 0.1 and 25 wt.-% of a polyamine.

Two-component water-based cementitious adhesive with reduced viscosity

A single-component sealant or adhesive composition, including: a) an aqueous polymer dispersion comprising water and at least one water-dispersed polymer P having a median particle size D50 of less than 150 nm, b) at least one water-dispersed or water-dissolved epoxy- or carbodiimide-functional cross-linker C, wherein the pH of the composition is adjusted in the range of 7 to 12, and wherein the at least one water-dispersed polymer P is included in the composition with an amount of at least 45 wt.-%, based on the total composition, and wherein the epoxy- or carbodiimide-functional cross-linker C is included in the composition with an amount of between 0.5 and 5 wt.-%, based on the total composition.

Water-based composition with improved transparency

A water-based dispersion sealant composition, including an aqueous polymer dispersion including water and at least one water-dispersible polymer, at least one polyolefin oligomer, at least one hydrogenated mixture of alkanes, isoalkanes, and/or cycloalkanes with a boiling point of at least 150&#xb0; C., and optionally at least one plasticizer having at least one ester or ether group, wherein the at least one polyolefin oligomer and the at least one hydrogenated mixture of alkanes, isoalkanes, and/or cycloalkanes with a boiling point of at least 150&#xb0; C. are liquid at 23&#xb0; C. and under standard pressure, wherein the at least one polyolefin oligomer is selected from polybutene and/or polyisobutylene, and wherein said at least one water-dispersible polymer is selected from poly(meth)acrylate polymers, styrene-(meth)acrylate copolymers, and vinyl-acetate-(meth)acrylate copolymers. The inventive composition is highly suitable as joint sealant or coating and offers reduced surface tackiness, low modulus, also at low temperatures, and good adhesion and water-resistance properties.

Water-based composition with low surface tackiness

The invention relates to compositions comprising at least one first and one second component; &#x2014;the first component K1 comprising at least one di(aminobenzoate) ester A1 of formula (I) with an average molecular weight of 500 g/mol to 2000 g/mol, preferably 600 g/mol to 1500 g/mol and particularly preferred between 650 g/mol and 1300 g/mol, G being a divalent group derived from poly(tetramethylene oxide) diol, and &#x2014;the second component K2 comprising at least one aromatic polyisocyanate B1 with an average molecular weight of 160 g/mol to 1100 g/mol, preferably 500 g/mol to 800 g/mol.
