The invention relates to an electromagnetically controllable suction valve () for a high-pressure fuel pump (), comprising a magnet assembly () and a hydraulic module (), the hydraulic module () engaging at least in sections in an annular magnet coil () of the magnet assembly (). According to the invention, a heat-conducting material () and/or a heat-conducting body () is/are arranged between the magnet coil () and the hydraulic module (). The invention further relates to a method for producing an electromagnetically actuatable suction valve ().

A valve, in particular a suction valve (), in particular in a high-pressure pump of a fuel injection system, has a valve element () that moves between an open position and a closed position, comprising a magnet armature () which is in mechanical contact with the valve element () in the axial direction and which is in contact with a first pressure spring () on the side facing away from the valve element (), and wherein the magnet armature () can be axially moved via an electromagnetic actuation and same is supported in a starting position on a valve body () via a stop plate (). The stop plate () is held in contact with the valve body () via a securing element ().
