The disclosure relates to a transfer device of a capsule filling machine for transferring at least one capsule from a capsule receptacle of a capsule segment to a downstream process station, and to a capsule filling machine having such a transfer device. The transfer device includes a transport segment having at least one transport receptacle, which extends along a vertical longitudinal axis, wherein the transport receptacle is configured as a clamping receptacle having a clamping element, acting radially with respect to the longitudinal axis of the transport receptacle, for the capsule.

Transfer device for a capsule and capsule filling machine having a transfer device

The disclosure relates to a capsule filling machine for filling two-part capsules each having an upper capsule portion and a lower capsule portion. The capsule filling machine includes a main drive unit for operating the capsule filling machine and at least one capsule segment for conveying the capsules. The capsule segment includes a lower segment portion for receiving the lower capsule portion and an upper segment portion for receiving the upper capsule portion. The lower segment portion and the upper segment portion are constructed to be able to be moved relative to each other. The capsule segment is operatively connected to the main drive unit in such a manner that the relative movement of the lower segment portion and upper segment portion with respect to each other is effected by the main drive unit.

Capsule filling machine for filling two-part capsules

A device for weighing filled capsules has a weighing unit with weighing receptacle for the capsules supplied via a feed channel to the weighing unit in a movement direction. The weighing receptacle has a stop holding a capsule with form fit in movement direction in a receptacle section of the weighing receptacle. The receptacle section relative to the horizontal is slanted such that a leading end of the receptacle section relative to the movement direction is lower than a rearward end. In the method for weighing, the capsule is held with form fit in movement direction in the receptacle section by the stop device such that the capsule is at a slant with a leading end in relation to the movement direction being lower than a rearward end of the capsule. Weighing of the capsule is done in the weighing unit while the capsule is held at the slant.

Device and method for weighing filled capsules

A capsule filling machine has a frame and a rotary plate. A processing station includes a weighing device for capsules. The frame has a table and feet for setting down on a floor. The weighing device has a weighing frame provided with dedicated weighing-frame feet. The table has a cutout with a peripheral edge, the weighing device being positioned in the cutout at a distance from its edge on all sides. The machine includes a flange having two ends that lie one on top of the other and a lining encircling its longitudinal axis. The flange in the region of one of its ends encloses the cutout in the machine table and is connected sealingly to the table in the region of the peripheral edge. The flange in the region of its other end encloses the weighing frame and is sealingly connected to the weighing frame.

Capsule filling machine

A capsule socket of a filling machine for two-piece capsules and a socket system having such a capsule socket and a capsule half of a two-piece capsule are disclosed herein. The two-piece capsules have two capsule halves, each with a capsule base and a capsule wall. The capsule socket includes a main body having a receiving space for the capsule half formed therein. The receiving space has a base portion, assigned to the respective capsule base, and a circumferential wall portion for centering the capsule wall. The receiving space has a clamping portion between the base portion and the circumferential wall portion. The clamping portion has a smaller free cross section than the circumferential wall portion. In the transition region from its base to its wall, the capsule half has a capsule part diameter. The clamping portion has a free clamping diameter, which is smaller than the capsule part diameter.
