Disclosed is a method () for reception of a satellite downlink signal () by a signal processor () in communication with a plurality of satellite signal receivers (). The plurality of satellite signal receivers () is arranged in accordance with a macro diversity. The method () comprises: digitally sampling () a first satellite downlink signal received by a reference receiver (R) of the plurality of satellite signal receivers () and at least one further satellite downlink signal received by at least one further receiver (F) of the plurality of satellite signal receivers (); and constructively combining () the digitally sampled first satellite downlink signal (R) and the digitally sampled at least one further satellite downlink signal (F). A system () having corresponding features is also disclosed. The methods and systems especially allow for an improvement of a signal-to-noise ratio and a reduction of an antenna size.

Method and system for reception of a satellite downlink signal

Disclosed are a system and a method for digital radio interference mitigation. The system includes a first interface configured to receive a first digital signal associated with a satellite ground station; a second interface configured to receive a second digital signal associated with and acquired at a radio network transceiver; and a signal processing unit connected to the first and second interfaces and configured to mitigate a radio interference associated with the second digital signal in the first digital signal. This may improve a reception of satellite ground stations, especially upon coexistence with 5G cellular services in the C-band frequency spectrum.

Interference cancellation for satellite communication

A general frequency division multiplex (GFDM) transmission system is proposed. Vacant frequency ranges are detected and subsequently used for transmission, wherein a single carrier transmission system with cyclic prefixing is deployed. A corresponding transmitter and receiver are disclosed.

Method and apparatus for multi-carrier frequency division multiplexing transmission

The assembly includes a first sub-assembly with, on a transmitter side, a modem having a plurality of inputs, an output for a total data stream, and signal paths connected in parallel. Each signal path includes a modulation stage, a stage for sampling modulated signals and a mixer stage Outputs of mixer stages are connected to inputs of a summation stage, and output of the summation stage is connected to output of the modem. A second sub-assembly has an input for initialization data connected to an assembly for controlling a test operation. The sub-assembly is connected to a downstream carrier management assembly having a plurality of outputs. Each output is connected to a test sequence generating unit. Outputs of all test sequence generating units are connected to a parallel/serial converter assembly connected downstream of a filter assembly. Output of the filter assembly is connected to output of the second sub-assembly.
