A device for preparing beverages, such as coffee, via a substance contained in a cartridge (C) comprises:&#x2014;a supporting structure (); and&#x2014;a cartridge-holder moving element () having a distal cartridge-holder portion (), the moving element () being supported on the supporting structure () for rotation about an axis (X) between a first angular position and a second angular position and for translation with respect to said axis (X) between a proximal position and a distal position. A link () is provided, such as an oscillating arm, which constrains the cartridge-holder moving element () and the supporting structure () so that the cartridge-holder moving element () is mobile between a condition of loading of the cartridge (C) and a condition of preparation of the beverage as a result of simultaneous movements of rotation and translation with respect to the aforesaid axis (X).

A dispensing assembly () for a machine for the preparation of liquid products using capsules includes: an injector device (), for introducing into a capsule () water and/or steam under pressure; a capsule holder (), facing the injector device () and designed to receive the capsule (); and an actuation linkage (), for causing displacements of the capsule holder () between a spaced position and a close position with respect to the injector device (). The dispensing assembly () further includes ejector means (), which are designed to push the capsule () towards the outside of the capsule holder () according to the displacement of the capsule holder () towards its spaced position from the injector device (). The ejector means () are mechanically constrained to the actuation linkage by means of a mechanical connection.

A method and system for generating electric energy in a tire includes a device including a housing that extends according to a longitudinal axis X, at least one electrical winding, a magnet movable within the housing along the longitudinal axis, and a force providing element positioned at at least one of two opposite ends of the housing, which is adapted to exert on the magnet a force along said longitudinal axis. The device is fixed on a crown portion of the tire; the tire is rotated on a rolling surface so as to determine variations of forces that act on the device every time the device passes, due to the rolling of the tire, at a footprint of the tire; the force exerted by the force providing element and the variations of forces along the longitudinal axis are exploited so as to cause variations of the magnet position with respect to the at least one electrical winding; and the electric energy generated across the at least one electrical winding as a consequence of the variations of the position of the magnet with respect to the electrical winding is collected.

A machine having a support structure with a hot-water dispensing head, a capsule-carrying assembly which is mounted so as to be movable in a first plane in the support structure. The machine further including a guide means suitable for allowing the capsule-carrying assembly to move between a working position in which the assembly is coupled with the dispensing head and an intermediate position in which the assembly can pivot about a first axis perpendicular to the first plane, towards an angular loading position in which it can receive a capsule. The machine also having an actuating device which includes an actuator member which is rotatable about a second fixed axis and can bring about the movement thereof between the working position and the loading position.
