A method for managing the use of an exercise machine by multiple users for performing physical exercises involves obtaining, following an authentication procedure by a first user, a code identifying the first user and information representative of the first user; storing the obtained code identifying the first user and information representative of the first user; obtaining, following an authentication procedure performed by at least one second user, a code identifying the at least one second user and information representative of the second user; storing the obtained code identifying the at least one second user and information representative of the at least one second user; and setting the exercise machine, following a selection of either the first user or the at least one second user for performing the respective physical exercise, based on either the code identifying the first user or the code identifying the at least one second user.

Method for managing the use of an exercise machine by multiple users for performing physical exercises and exercise machine implementing such a method

A method transmits audio signals to exercise machines of a training class including providing a control unit accessible to a trainer user managing a training class. Exercise machines operatively connect to the control unit by a data communication network. The exercise machines include a first group of exercise machines used in the training class. The control unit and each exercise machine of the first group establish a data communication channel for transmitting audio signals between the control unit and the first group of exercise machines. The control unit receives a first audio signal representative of a voice control by the trainer user and a second audio signal representative of a piece of music selected by the trainer user. The control unit sends the encoded first and second audio signals to all exercise machines of the first group of exercise machines by the communication channel.

Method and system for transmitting audio signals to exercise machines of a training class

Method, system and program product for managing data representative of the personal experience of a user on an exercise equipment. During the execution of a client software application launched by the user of the exercise equipment, when the client software application sends a request of updating data representative of the state of the client software application to a database remotely disposed with respect to the exercise equipment, updated data representative of the state of the client software application are retrieved, associated to a user identification code and temporarily stored in a first memory unit of the exercise equipment. When a procedure of logout of the user on the exercise equipment is performed, the updated data representative of the state of the client software application associated with said user identification code are stored in a second memory unit of the exercise equipment and sent to the remote database.
