An intra-vessel transcatheter filter device () designed to capture and remove emboli, thus preventing distal embolization, comprising: • a tubular filter () comprising a flexible porous material and defined by a distal element and a proximal element, namely a main body () and a funnel (); i. said main body () having a length adapted to extend within a suitable vessel zone; said main body () comprising: a) a distal end () that is adapted to be radially coupled with said zone and hermetically sealed to it when the device is in an active configuration, said distal end () being provided of selectively actionable closure means so that said distal end is designed to be open when the device is in an active configuration and closed before the device retraction, b) a proximal end (); ii. said funnel () forming an extension of said main body (), with the funnel base located at said proximal end (). • a support structure assembly () comprising: i. a supporting catheter () extending within said main body (), ii. one radially expandable distal structure () fixed to said distal end (), iii. one radially expandable proximal structure () positioned in correspondence of said proximal end (), said distal structure () and said proximal structure () being fixed at least in an end to said supporting catheter ().

Transcatheter anti embolic filter for arterial and venous vessels

Device for the treatment of tissue calcification, in particular aortic valve leaflets, characterized by the fact that it comprises a first ultrasound emission source that is adapted to provide ultrasound waves with MHz frequencies and a second ultrasound emission source that is adapted to provide ultrasound waves with KHZ frequencies, both MHz and KHz waves being used for the said treatment. The invention also includes a method for the treatment of tissue calcification that is characterized by the simultaneous use of ultrasound waves with MHz frequencies and ultrasound waves with KHz frequencies.
