A communicating device, method, and computer readable medium for performing a process of authenticating a physical structure. The communicating device includes circuitry that is configured to transmit a first instruction to a mobile device, receive first information associated with execution of the first instruction by the mobile device, validate the first information in order to determine a first score corresponding to the first instruction, by comparing the first information with pre-stored information, transmit a second instruction to the mobile device, receive, from the mobile device, second information associated with execution of the second instruction by the mobile device, validate the second information to determine a second score corresponding to the second instruction, by comparing the second information with pre-stored information, and generate an authentication result for the physical structure in response to the first and second scores being greater than first and second predetermined thresholds respectively.

A method and apparatus for the prediction of order turnaround time in an information verification system is disclosed. An information verification order comprises several and diverse instances of different types of elementary verification/validation/search services. Each of these services is characterized by its own turnaround time (TAT) statistical distribution function which is used in the prediction of order turnaround time. A Monte Carlo algorithm is used to determine the order turnaround time.

Method and apparatus for the prediction of order turnaround time in an information verification system

Complex events for an entity are gathered, each including an event, the event's location, and the date of the event. A map encompassing the locations of the complex events is displayed. The location of each complex event is denoted on the map, such as by an icon corresponding to the complex event type, in a color corresponding to whether the complex event was validated. For each successive pair of complex events, including a first and a second complex event, a line is drawn on the map between their locations. Timelines graphically denoting the complex events in order of their dates may be displayed, including one corresponding to those complex events that have been validated, and others that each correspond to those complex events that come from the same source. A list of the complex events may be displayed, organized in accordance with the types of the complex events.
