Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable media for utilizes a collaboration application to provide data beneficial to the authentication of the user. The present application discloses receiving at least one item of personal identifying information for a user from a primary multi-factor authentication device. The present application further discloses receiving at least one item of personal identifying information for a user from a conferencing service in which the user is engaged in a conference. The present application also discloses determining whether to authenticate the user based on the items of personal identifying information from the primary multi-factor authentication device and from the conferencing service.

Collaboration application integration for user-identity verification

This disclosure describes techniques for discovering network metrics relating to communications between a client device and a server device via a network. The client device may send one or more queries to a network device of the network. The network device may reply to the query of the client device with network metrics. The client device may forward the network metrics to the server device. For instance, an administrator at the server device may receive the network metrics. As such, the network metrics are discoverable by the client device and/or the administrator. Furthermore, the administrator may be able to use the discovered network metrics to monitor and/or troubleshoot a performance issue.

Network metric discovery

The present disclosure provides a method of exchanging on-premise network analytics and cloud-based application analytics between an enterprise network and a cloud-based application without exchanging any personally identifiable information about the end users and devices involved in a communication session conducted over the enterprise network and using the cloud-based application. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, at a controller of a network, first analytics data, the first analytics data being embedded with a watermark, the first analytics data excluding personally identifiable information associated with end points of a communication session using a cloud-based application; receiving second analytics data from one or more components of the network, the second analytics data including the watermark; correlating the first analytics data and the second analytics data using the watermark to yield correlated data; and performing network analysis and troubleshooting using the correlated data.

Anonymous integration of cloud based applications and on-premise network analytics

In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a first update message at a first forwarding node from a second forwarding node of the communications network. The first update message includes forwarded service type data that indicates a type of service available via the second forwarding node, and forwarded cost data that indicates a first cost of communications to obtain the type of service via the second forwarding node. An incremental cost is determined for communications between the first forwarding node and the second forwarding node. Service data is stored at the first forwarding node. The service data indicates the type of service is associated with the second forwarding node at a total cost based on the first cost and the incremental cost. A second update message that includes forwarded cost data based on the total cost is sent over the network from the first forwarding node.
