A method () of configuring a lighting system () is discloses. The lighting system () comprises a first light switch () for controlling a first lighting device () and a second light switch () for controlling a second lighting device (). The method () comprises: receiving () a signal indicative of an activation of a first user input element () of the first light switch (), wherein the activation is indicative of a selection of a first light scene, controlling () the first lighting device () according to the first light scene, and associating () a second light scene with a second user input element () of the second light switch () based on the selected first light scene, such that when the second user input element () is activated by a user, the second lighting device () is controlled according to the second light scene.
