The invention concerns a tin packaging arrangement comprising a sheet of foldable material folded around a plurality of tins, which are arranged together in an orderly manner for the relative packaging, to form a containment volume for the tins themselves, said volume being substantially defined by a base, a side surface, and a top cover obtained from the sheet in a continuous way. A peculiarity of the present invention is that openings are made in the top cover of the sheet of the packaging arrangement, within which top portions of the tins engage.

A working process of a machine for wrapping products in packages, carried out with a thermoplastic material film from a reel, the process comprising: reducing a transversal section of a hollow mandrel to be smaller than a transversal dimension of a bundle of products, positioning a sealing device in a position for sealing overlapped longitudinal edges of the film while forming a new tubular film casing, arranging two vertically mobile elements of a sealing and transversal cutting assembly in a closure position on the head portion of the new tubular film casing and on the tail portion of the tubular film casing of a finished package, and conveying the new tubular film casing away from the mandrel, and repeating the process so that the product placed inside the tubular casing by the mandrel is wrapped in a tight adherent manner due to the elastic retraction of the film.

Process for operating a machine for wrapping products with a thermoplastic film

A packaging machine with a carousel with horizontal axes, particularly suitable for packaging rolls of paper or packs of paper serviettes or other solid products of variable size, of the type that comprises a plurality of identical seats on the same carousel, angularly equidistant from each other, radially open towards both the outside and the inside and each formed by a longitudinal wall fastened perpendicularly to said carousel and by a parallel and opposite wall, the distance of which from said fixed longitudinal wall can be adjusted to ensure that, with a movement parallel to the axis of the carousel, a product of variable size with its wrapping sheet can be inserted between these walls, and wherein the same seats comprise, between said longitudinal walls, two transverse walls designed to cooperate with the ends of said product with the wrapping sheet inserted in the same seats, which for this must have an adjustable reciprocal distance, whereby at least one of these transverse walls is connected to means for adjusting the distance from the other transverse wall, characterized in that said adjustment means comprise, for each said wall, respective internal threads and respective slides sliding on respective rectilinear guide means, directly or indirectly supported by the table of the carousel and parallel to the movement of the associated walls, with two sets of screws being provided parallel to these guide means that cooperate with said internal threads, which are also rotationally supported, directly or indirectly, by said table, these screws being kinematically connected to each other by associated means to ensure that by acting on one of the components of these connection means, the adjustment of the dimensions in length and in width of all the seats is performed in a centralized, rapid and precise manner to adapt them to the different sizes of the products to be packaged.

Packaging machine with a horizontal-axis carousel, particularly for packaging rolls of paper or packs of paper serviettes or other solid products of variable size

The apparatus is formed of two identical devices (A, A') installed mirror image-fashion, each of which is equipped with a pressure bar (&#x2032;) fitted to overhang the relevant lateral toothed conveyor belts (T, T&#x2032;) which move and recircle the sai bars, and which are in their turn activated by relevant motors (&#x2032;) with electronic speed and phase control governed by one programmable processing unit (). When the length of the products (P) is less than the length of the straight branches of the conveyors moving the said bars, the two devices are installed mirror-image fashion, with the axles of the pulleys of one conveyor aligned with those of the corresponding pulleys of the other conveyor. In this position, the bars (&#x2032;) of the two devices alternate in taking, moving foward by pushing and the final placing of the product in the workstation (K). However, when the length of the products exceeds the length of the said conveyors moving the bars, the possibility is offered of acting on both means, allowing anticipation of the longitudinal position of one device in relation to the other, so that the products are firstly taken by the bar (&#x2032;) of device (A&#x2032;) working in advance and are transferred from it in phase to the bar () of the downstream device (A), which in turn provides for the transfer and phased placing of the product in the workstation (K).

Device to modify the pitch between pushers according to the length of the product

The thrust bars (), which are placed behind the product in the transfer phase from a first transport line (L) to a downstream line (L), have an adjustable stop () resting against the one side of the product in the direction of travel of this product. Articulated joints ('), connect the ends of the bars to corresponding points of the upper branch or the lower branch of a parallel pair of toothed belt conveyors (T, T&#x2032;) fed on pulleys with horizontal axles, which are inclined at a right angle to the conveyors (T,T&#x2032;) which bridge the area between the two transport lines and which with their one branch, work in the direction running from the upstream line to the downstream line at an identical speed to each other such as to be able to effect, with the above-mentioned bars, the transfer of products from one conveyor belt to the other by rear and side thrust. Guides (&#x2032;) are provided parallel to the conveyor (T) connected to the outer edge of the junction area of the conveyor lines to guide the right-hand edge of the product in the working direction during the transfer phase, particularly when this product is very long.
