The container includes a cover hinged on the container, for closing the seat of the refill, and a mechanical coupling between the cover and the dispensing button, which causes the dispensing button to raise beyond its ordinary rest position, when the cover is opened, and to lower to its ordinary rest position, when the cover is closed.

A fragrance diffuser device for motor vehicle interiors, of the type including an elongated support body, a refill of a fragrance-impregnated plastic material fixed to a fastening base of the support body, and an elastic clamp to hook the diffuser onto a motor vehicle ventilation system grid. A volatile material dispenser includes a housing configured to receive a refill containing a volatile material and a wick, the housing including a first cavity supporting a heater arrangement and a second, separate cavity supporting a fan arrangement for dispersing a vapor plume of the volatile material. The first cavity is substantially unobstructed between an upper, interior surface of the housing and an upper surface of the heater arrangement. The housing also includes an aperture through which the vapor plume exits the housing and a plurality of openings through which air from the fan arrangement directs the vapor plume away from the aperture. When a refill is received within the hosing, the upper surface of the heater arrangement is disposed nearer the aperture than a distal end of the wick, and a radial gap is formed between the heater arrangement and the wick.

An evaporator includes a housing, a bottle containing a substance to be evaporated, a wick having a lower portion disposed within the bottle and an upper portion protruding from the bottle, a heating device disposed within the housing at a position proximate to the upper portion of the wick, and an adjustment mechanism within the housing for displacing at least the upper portion of the wick toward or away from the heating device in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wick. In a preferred embodiment, the adjustment mechanism includes a hollow cylindrical portion that engages the upper portion of the wick, and a dial portion for rotating the hollow cylindrical portion about an axis of rotation.

A wall-mounted, plug-in appliance includes a housing and a plug assembly, which is rotatably disposed within the housing. The plug assembly includes (i) a plug for electrically connecting the plug assembly to a wall outlet and (ii) at least one integral extra outlet to which another electrical appliance can be plugged in. The plug assembly conducts power to electrical components of the appliance at each of at least two 90-degree intervals of rotation of the plug assembly, and the extra outlet is accessible through different ones of a plurality of windows in the housing at different 90-degree intervals of rotation of the plug assembly.
