A detection device for detecting contamination of an optical element. The detection device includes a coupling device, including a first coupling element for coupling light of at least one wavelength from a light source into the optical element, and a second coupling element for coupling light out from the optical element, at least one of the coupling elements including a hologram, and having a detector for acquiring the coupled-out light.

LIDAR device for detecting an object

A LIDAR device is described including a beam source for emitting electromagnetic radiation in an emission path, in which at least one holographic optical element is situated for diffracting the emitted electromagnetic radiation, and a detector for detecting incident electromagnetic radiation in a reception path, an optical bandpass filter being connected upstream from the detector. Depending on a wavelength of the emitted electromagnetic radiation, the holographic optical element effectuates a diffraction by at least one angle of reflection which is matched to the shift of the wavelength of the incident electromagnetic radiation with the aid of the bandpass filter.

A device for detecting a soiling of a transparent cover of at least one transmitting window and/or one receiving window of an optical sensor. The device includes at least one hologram structure, an image sensor, and a processing unit. The at least one hologram structure is designed to at least partially deflect light beams incident through the transparent cover, or light beams reflected by an inner side of the transparent cover, in the direction of the image sensor. An optical element for a lidar system. The optical element includes an expanding optical system configured to expand received light beams, and a projection lens configured to receive and parallelize each of the expanded light beams from the expanding optical system. The expanding optical system and/or the projection lens is formed as a holographic optical element.

An optical assembly, for receiving light waves, includes a receiving optical system for focusing at least one incoming light wave onto a surface of a detector for detecting the at least one light wave, at least one diffractive optical element with a planar extension being situated between the receiving optical system and the detector, and the at least one diffractive optical element including a surface with a surface structure with at least one optical function. Furthermore, a LIDAR device includes an optical assembly of this type.
