A method for controlling a filling process of a motor vehicle tank comprising the following steps: determine a geographical location of the motor vehicle tank; determining, by means of a tank control device, whether the geographical location of the motor vehicle tank is within a predetermined geographical area; and determining a shut-off filling volume dependent on the geographical location of the motor vehicle tank, if the geographical location of the motor vehicle tank is within the predetermined geographical area.

An operating fluid tank includes a capacitor. The capacitor includes a first electrode and a second electrode. Between the first electrode and the second electrode, a clearance is formed which is fluid-connected to an operating fluid tank interior. The fluid tank also includes an evaluator electrically connected to the capacitor for determining a capacity of the capacitor by means of measurement signals determined by the capacitor. The first electrode and the second electrode include an electrically conductive plastic material.

Operating fluid container with capacitive detection of filling levels

A method for determining a filling stop during a filling process of an operating fluid container whose operating fluid container interior can be filled with an operating fluid via a filling pipe opening into said interior, wherein a pressure sensor for determining a pressure within the filling pipe is arranged in the filling pipe, wherein the method has the following method steps: acquiring the time profile of pressure values acquired by means of the pressure sensor; and outputting a filling stop signal in accordance with the time profile of the pressure values. Detecting the deactivation of a filling device

A valve module for an operating fluid container system. The valve module has a housing which has a first connection for fluidically connecting to an operating fluid container interior, a second connection for fluidically connecting to a filler tube, and a third connection for at least indirectly fluidically connecting to the atmosphere. The valve module comprises the following features: the first connection is connected to the second connection and the third connection within the housing in a fluidic manner in each case; the second connection is connected to the third connection within the housing in a fluidic manner; and the first connection, the second connection, and the third connection can each be adjusted independently of one another between an open position, in which fluid communication through the respective connection is allowed, and a closed position, in which fluid communication through the respective connection is prevented.

A method for controlling a filling process of an operating fluid container, which can be filled by a filling device via a filling tube opening into the operating liquid container, wherein the operating fluid container is provided with a venting valve, which can be electrically operated between an open position, in which the operating liquid container is fluidically connected to the atmosphere, at least indirectly, by the venting valve, and a closed position, in which the operating fluid container is fluidically separated from the atmosphere by the venting valve.
