A device for opening and closing a charging socket includes a flap element. Using a shaft, the flap element is movably disposed on a housing of the charging socket, and the shaft comprises a first notch and a second notch. The device further includes a retaining element. The retaining element is mechanically attached to the flap element and comprises a bolt. Using the shaft, the flap element is transferrable from a closed position to an opened position. In the closed position of the flap element, the bolt of the retaining element is latched in the first notch of the shaft. In the opened position of the flap element, the bolt of the retaining element is latched in the second notch of the shaft.

Device for opening and closing a charging socket

An electrical connector may be provided for connection to a mating electrical contact in an insertion direction. The connector has an inner casing in which an electrical bushing contact having a locking element, which can be moved parallel to the insertion direction for setting a contact force, can be fixed to the mating contact, which can be inserted into the bushing contact. At least one axial end of the locking element may protrude laterally out of the inner casing. The connector also has an outer casing in which the inner casing can be accommodated. A locking element fixing means, which can be fixed on the outer casing in a stationary manner against movement parallel to the insertion direction and also engages in the axial end of the locking element, is also provided, allowing a movement of the inner casing relative to the outer casing parallel to the insertion direction.

Electrical connector and connection

The present disclosure relates to a plug connector casing adapted for use as a vehicle plug connector. In one implementation, the plug connector casing may include a main body made of plastic and a casing lock that is displaceable relative to the main body along a plugging direction. In some implementations, the plug connector casing may be equipped with a cable bracket that is capable of being releasably latched to a cable support that is integral with the main body, extends from an end face of the main body past the casing lock, and has one or more latch elements adjacent thereto. The present disclosure also relates to a plug connector provided with a plug connector casing of this type.

Plug connector casing and plug connector

An electrical plug connector for a vehicle comprises a plug with a plug casing in which a contact chamber is formed, an electrical contact part arranged in the contact chamber, a locking bolt for releasably attaching a plug-in contact to the contact part, and a socket to be plugged with the plug, a socket casing and a plug-in contact attached thereto. The plug connector has a locking slide attachable to the plug casing that is mounted on the casing for displacement at least into a locking position in a direction transverse to the plugging direction of the plug, to lock the plug to the socket. The locking slide has a guide slot extending substantially transversely to the plugging direction and having an inclined plane to guide the locking bolt of the contact part as it is moved into the locking position.

Electrical plug connector optimized for installation

The present disclosure relates to an electrical plug connector, such as a high-voltage plug connector, for a vehicle. The plug connector comprises a plug with a plug casing, one or more electrical contact parts accommodated in the plug casing, a socket with a socket casing, and a protective housing at least partly encasing the plug casing and the socket casing. The protective housing comprises an attachment flange in a connection area reaching up to a counterpart connectable thereto. An engagement ridge of the protective housing is spaced apart from the attachment flange in the longitudinal direction L of the plug connector and at least positively engages in an engagement channel of the plug casing.

Electrical plug connector for vehicle

Embodiments disclose an electrical connector comprising a contact part including a sleeve enclosing a receiving space; a contact spring; and a locking pin including an axial end protruding laterally beyond the sleeve, the locking pin configured to be displaceably guided in the sleeve between a first final position and a second final position, be in contact with the contact spring, and push the contact spring towards the receiving space to a degree depending on a position of the locking pin between the first and second final positions; and a housing surrounding the contact part, the housing including a securing element configured to be selectively movable or fixed relative to the sleeve, grip the at least one axial end of the locking pin to form a locked connection, and selectively move the locking pin during a movement relative to the sleeve or fix the locking pin relative to the sleeve.

Electrical connector and electrical plug connection

Embodiments disclose a contact part comprising a sleeve forming a receiving space for inserting a plug-in contact in an insertion direction, at least one contact spring secured to the inside of the sleeve, and a locking pin configured to be displaceably guided in the sleeve between first and second end positions in sliding contact with the contact spring, wherein the locking pin is configured to push the contact spring in the direction of the receiving space to varying degrees depending on the position of the locking pin between the two end positions. Embodiments disclose a method for producing a contact part comprising providing a sheet metal part and at least one contact spring held in a form-locked manner in the sheet metal part, and forming the sheet metal part to obtain a sleeve that forms a receiving space for inserting a plug-in contact in the insertion direction.

Contact part and method for producing a contact part

Embodiments disclose a contact part comprising a sleeve forming a receiving space for a plug-in contact to be inserted in an insertion direction; a contact spring secured to an inside of the sleeve, the contact spring comprising a first protrusion, a second protrusion and an intermediate section between the first and second protrusions; and a plate-shaped contact tab attached to the sleeve so as to form the receiving space between the contact tab and the contact spring, the contact tab comprising a profile oriented towards the contact spring, the profile having a flat portion extending towards the intermediate section of the contact spring. Applications for the present disclosure include high-current plug connections, such as those used in vehicles and onboard wiring systems.

Contact part

A method for assembling cables includes sliding a housing and a sleeve accommodated in the housing onto a cable in such a manner that the sleeve surrounds at least a portion of the cable. The housing is made of an electrically non-conductive material, the sleeve is made of an electrically conductive material and includes a cutting edge pointing radially inward, and the cable includes a conducting element and an insulation surrounding the conducting element. The method further includes magnetically forming the sleeve by applying a magnetic field to the sleeve through the housing, such that the sleeve is pressed against the insulation and the cutting edge penetrates the insulation completely and contacts the conducting element.

Method for assembling cables

An electrical connector is configured to be electrically coupled to a mating connector, The connector includes a housing having a contact chamber, and a contact connector element accommodated in the contact chamber. The contact connector element is configured to be coupled to a mating connector element of the mating connector and includes a primary locking member configured to latch with the contact chamber. The connector further includes a secondary locking member configured to frictionally lock the contact connector element in the housing.

Connector and mating connector

An angular high-voltage plug that connects to a cable is described for use in high-voltage electrical systems of motor vehicles. The angular high-voltage plug includes an electrically insulating monolithic housing. The plug also includes an outer conductor and an inner conductor. The outer conductor includes a first outer conductor part at the cable that includes a connecting area and a linking area and a second outer conductor part at the plug. The first outer conductor part and the second outer conductor part are interconnected using an interference fit.

Angular high-voltage plug

An electrical connector is configured to be electrically coupled to a mating connector. The connector includes a housing having a contact chamber and a connector face. The connector further includes a contact connector element accommodated in the contact chamber. The contact connector element includes a primary locking member configured to latch with the contact chamber. The connector also includes a secondary locking member assembled to the housing via the connector face. The secondary locking member is configured to interlock the contact connector element in the housing.

A fuse holder for use in motor vehicles. The fuse holder comprises an elongated box-shaped housing having flat-fuse type slots accessible from the upper side of the housing and contact chambers arranged beneath the slots within the housing. The chambers can receive the contact feet of single contacts and/or current bridges. Contact chambers of the current bridge and of the single contacts can be substantially identically configured, which may permit a more versatile use. Each contact chamber can be fitted with two mutually facing catch recesses for catch projections of the single contacts. Each contact chamber can also be fitted with at least one catch recess for the current bridge. Moreover, each contact chamber can be fitted with a receiving shaft for two contact feet where the feet are aligned parallel to one another and transverse to the extension direction of the elongated housing.

Fuse holder for flat fuses

A current bridge comprising an oblong support strip that has an end face, and a plurality of contact feet each having a first strip-shaped leg and a second strip-shaped leg. The contact feet extend from the end face of the support strip and are formed integrally with the support strip. The two legs each comprise a main face specified by their strip shape. The main faces of the two legs extend essentially parallel to one another.
