A potentiometric sensor having a measuring half cell with a conductor element, a reference half cell with a reference element, a measuring circuit connected with the conductor element of the measuring half cell and the reference element of the reference half cell and designed to create a measuring signal that is dependent on a potential difference between the conductor element and the reference element. The measuring half cell further includes a housing having a housing chamber closed off by a first ion-selective membrane and contacted by the conductor element, a first inner electrolyte contained within the housing chamber and contacting the ion-selective membrane. The conductor element includes an inner conductor, especially an inner conductor comprising a metallic conductor, connected with the measuring circuit and a gas-tight barrier separating the inner conductor from the first inner electrolyte.

Potentiometric sensor

The present disclosure relates to a sensor for determining measured values of a measured variable representing an analyte content in a measuring fluid, comprising a measuring probe with a probe housing that comprises an immersion region provided for immersion into the measuring fluid, and a single-layer or multi-layer membrane arranged in the immersion region, wherein the membrane comprises at least a first layer that is formed from a polymer and comprises a superhydrophobic surface that is in contact with the measuring fluid when the immersion region is immersed in the measuring fluid.

Sensor

The present disclosure relates to an amperometric sensor for determining measurement values of a measurand representing a chlorine dioxide content of a measuring fluid, the sensor including a sensor housing in which a housing chamber is formed, a membrane sealing the housing chamber, a working electrode arranged within the housing chamber, a counter electrode arranged within the housing chamber, an inner electrolyte contained in the housing chamber and in contact with the membrane, the working electrode and the counter electrode, the inner electrolyte having a pH value between 3.5 and 9, inclusive, and a pH buffer stabilizing the inner electrolyte. The sensor further includes a measurement circuit electrically connected with the working electrode and the counter electrode and configured to apply a predetermined, constant voltage between the working electrode and the counter electrode and to generate at least one measurement signal representing a measurement value of the measurand.

Amperometric chlorine dioxide sensor

According to at least one aspect of the present disclosure, a method for determining orthophosphate content of a liquid, comprising: registering a first measurement signal of an ion selective dihydrogen phosphate sensor; registering a second measurement signal of an ion selective hydrogen phosphate sensor; and determining the orthophosphate content of the liquid based on the first and second measurement signals. The dihydrogen phosphate sensor can comprise an ion selective dihydrogen phosphate electrode and the hydrogen phosphate sensor an ion selective hydrogen phosphate electrode. In the step of determining the orthophosphate content of the liquid, a cross-sensitivity of the dihydrogen phosphate electrode to hydrogen phosphate present in the liquid and a cross-sensitivity of the hydrogen phosphate electrode to dihydrogen phosphate present in the liquid can be taken into consideration.

Sensor arrangement and method for determining orthophosphate content of a liquid

A method for determining orthophosphate content of a liquid, comprising: registering a first measurement signal (ISE) of an ion selective dihydrogen phosphate sensor; registering a second measurement signal (ISE) of an ion selective hydrogen phosphate sensor; and determining the orthophosphate content of the liquid based on the first (ISE) and second (ISE) measurement signals. The dihydrogen phosphate sensor can comprise an ion selective dihydrogen phosphate electrode and the hydrogen phosphate sensor an ion selective hydrogen phosphate electrode. An ion-selective electrode comprising: a housing, which surrounds a housing interior; an ion-selective membrane; especially a polymer membrane; and a sensing system, which is in contact with the ion-selective membrane, for sensing a potential of the ion-selective membrane, wherein the ion-selective membrane at least partially fills the housing interior, and is in contact with a medium surrounding the housing via at least one traversing bore through a housing wall of the housing.

Ion-selective electrode

A reference electrode, especially for a potentiometric measuring cell, comprising: a housing, which surrounds a housing interior, which contains a reference electrolyte and at least a part of a sensing system for sensing a potential of the reference electrode. The reference electrolyte is in contact with a medium surrounding the housing, especially a measured medium, via at least one bore traversing through a housing wall of the housing, and wherein the bore has an inner diameter of no more than 50 &#x3bc;m at its narrowest point and a length of no more than 200 &#x3bc;m.
