A method for predicting a pressure window for drilling a borehole in a formation includes: obtaining a pore pressure related data value of the formation using a data acquisition tool; predicting pore pressure uncertainty from the pore pressure related data value of the formation using a processor; estimating uncertainty of a pressure window for drilling fluid using the predicted pore pressure uncertainty using a processor; and applying the estimated uncertainty to the pressure window to provide a modified pressure window using a processor.

An example method includes measuring a first fluid distribution of a first formation proximate to a first wellbore and measuring a second fluid distribution of a second formation proximate to a second wellbore. The method further includes generating a first tool response model for the first formation based at least in part on the first fluid distribution and generating a second tool response model for the second formation based at least in part on the second fluid distribution. The one or more locations is based on the formation stress-state data. The method further includes deriving stress-state of the formation and a fracturing parameter of the formation using the formation stress-state data and drilling a second section of the borehole using the derived stress-state and the fracturing parameter.
