A rotor for a permanent magnet synchronous machine includes a laminated core having recesses in which respective permanent magnets are received. Each recess has a first end region which is closer to an axis of rotation of the rotor than a second end region. The permanent magnets are arranged in recesses which are adjacent to one another and of which the first end regions are closer to one another in the circumferential direction of the rotor than the second end regions. This arrangement is such that similar poles of the permanent magnets face one another. The rotor has a holding part by way of which a first portion of the laminated core is coupled to a second portion of the laminated core. The holding part has a lower magnetic conductivity than a subregion of the laminated core, the volume of which is equal to a volume of the holding part.

A wireless power transfer (WPT) device includes a polyphase coil network comprising a plurality of phases for transfer of high-frequency AC power, each one of the plurality of phases comprising a phase coil, wherein the polyphase coil network is configured to operate in a polyphase configuration to enable transfer of polyphase high-frequency AC power with a mating WPT device operating in a polyphase mode; and operate in a single phase interoperability configuration to enable transfer of single phase high-frequency AC power with a mating WPT device operating in a single phase mode.

A longitudinal driver assistance system, in a hybrid vehicle equipped with at least one electric drive motor, one internal combustion engine and one electronic drive control unit which actuates said motor and engine, includes: a detection system for the predictive detection of an event which, starting from an actual speed, leads to the specification of an increased setpoint speed at a specified location-dependent time, and a function unit which is configured to specify a setpoint acceleration profile to the increased setpoint speed and to output it to the drive control unit for generating a motor/engine torque which is necessary to reach the setpoint acceleration profile. The function unit is also configured to receive, when a defined condition applies, a limiting maximum possible motor/engine torque from the drive control unit, which motor/engine torque is not sufficient to reach the setpoint acceleration profile, and to specify a changed setpoint acceleration profile on the basis thereof.
