A device for mechanically preventing the automatic opening of a vehicle door in the event of an object acting thereon includes a mounting clip fixed to an outer door part for an outer door handle. The mounting clip has a door opening mechanism having a balancing mass which is adjustably supported on the mounting clip and operatively connected to the outer door handle and can also be moved from a first operating position into a second operating position and back. A force introduction and locking element is associated with the balancing mass. A movement of the balancing mass from the first operating position into the second operating position can be prevented, limited, and/or reversed by way of the element. When viewed in the direction of movement of the bar the force introduction and locking element is advantageously supported against a door lock housing that is fastened to the vehicle door.

A door handle device for a door of a motor vehicle, with a bearing bracket attachable/attached to the door, with a door handle pivotally mounted on the bearing bracket, with an unlocking device that connects the door handle to the door lock so as to unlock the door lock upon actuation of the door handle, and with a blocking element, which is disposed on the bearing bracket in a release position releasing the unlocking device. The blocking element is at least partly displaceable into a blocking position preventing the unlocking device from unlocking so as to prevent opening of the door in an accident-related deformation of the door. It is provided that the blocking element is designed to be plastically and/or elastically deformable at least in sections such that the blocking element is movable into the blocking position at least in sections in the direction of the bearing bracket.

A vehicle body includes a bottom sillboard, the inner and outer profile parts of which are joined together, as viewed in the vehicle transverse direction, at upper and lower flange connections, to which bottom sillboard a pillar base of a body pillar element is attached, which, in the event of a side collision is supported with a first support profile against the upper flange connection of the bottom sillboard, and with a second support profile against a sillboard outer wall between the two flange connections. According to the invention, a force transmission element is provided in the hollow space of the bottom sillboard. In the event of a side collision, the force transmission element provides an additional force path between the second support profile and a sillboard inner wall.
