A filling aid is provided for filling a cylinder ampule () with a medical or pharmaceutical fluid. The filling aid in a common housing () includes a first receiver () which is configured for receiving the cylinder ampule () to be filled, and a second receiver () which is configured for receiving a receptacle () containing a medical or pharmaceutical substance. A first access opening () is formed on the first receiver () and is arranged such that the first access opening () lies opposite an opening of a cylinder ampule () when this cylinder ampule is inserted into the first receiver (). A second access opening () is formed on the second receiver () and is arranged such that the second access opening () lies opposite an opening of a receptacle () when this receptacle () is inserted into the second receiver ().
