A decoupling element for an ultrasonic sensor is disclosed. The ultrasonic sensor is able to be attached to a flat component for a vehicle. The flat component includes a cutout. The ultrasonic sensor includes a cylindrical ultrasonic transceiver element which is able to be introduced into the cutout. The decoupling element includes a hollow-cylindrical element for enclosing the cylindrical ultrasonic transceiver element of the ultrasonic sensor and a plurality of support ribs which are arranged in the radial direction outside the hollow-cylindrical element and are spaced apart from one another in a circumferential direction of the hollow-cylindrical element for supporting the decoupling element on a region of the flat component outside the cutout when the cylindrical ultrasonic transceiver element with the hollow-cylindrical element enclosing it is introduced by an end portion at an axial end into the cutout.

Decoupling element for an ultrasonic sensor

An ultrasonic sensor () comprises a housing () and a diaphragm (), to which a piezo-electric element () is fastened, and an electric connector region () which has an earth connector (). A layer made from an electrically non-conducting material is arranged between the diaphragm () and the piezo-electric element (), and the diaphragm () is connected to the earth connector () in an electrically conducting manner.

The invention relates to an ultrasonic sensor device () for a motor vehicle, comprising an ultrasonic sensor (), which comprises a pot-shaped membrane () for emitting and/or receiving ultrasonic signals, comprising a decoupling ring (), which is arranged to fit around the membrane () in contact with an outer circumference () of the membrane (), and comprising a stiffening element (), which is arranged around the decoupling ring (), wherein the decoupling ring () comprises a circumferential first radial decoupling region () which is in contact with the outer circumference () of the membrane () as well as a second radial decoupling region () with an axial face () which is in contact with an axial face () of the stiffening element ().

Ultrasonic sensor device having an improved decoupling ring and motor vehicle

The invention relates to a sensor () for a short-range detection system and/or parking system of a motor vehicle, especially an ultrasound sensor. The sensor comprises a pot-shaped housing (), whereby the base thereof () is embodied as an oscillating membrane. The housing comprises a coating on at least the outer side. The invention is characterized in that the coating is made of powder () which is weather-proof, which can be coated and which has no or no significant negative influence upon the oscillation behavior of the membrane. The invention also relates to a method for the production of this type of sensor.

The present disclosure relates to an ultrasonic sensor used, for example, in the form of an ultrasonic vehicle parking aid provided with a sensor having an ultrasonic membrane and optionally a board provided with mounted required electronics and a coupling for an electric plug-in connection which are arranged therein, wherein said coupling is placed on a separate coupling housing and the sensor housing is combinable with different coupling housings.
