A method for manufacturing a thermal interface in a battery includes providing of at least one battery module and at least one receiving structure, with a receiving region featuring a heat-transmission surface to accommodate a side of the battery module, measuring of the receiving region and/or the side of the battery module. The method further includes determining, based on the measuring, a size and shape of a gap that forms between the heat-transmission surface and the side of the battery module. Additionally, the method includes determining of a dosage specification for a heat-conducting material for filling of the gap, applying of the heat-conducting material onto the heat-transmission surface and/or to the side of the battery module according to the determined dosage specification, and installing the battery module in the intended installation position by compressing of the applied heat-conducting material.

Method and system for producing a thermal interface in a battery for a motor vehicle

A channel for cooling at least one battery cell is set out. The channel includes a first housing frame and a second housing frame. The first housing frame is connected to the second housing frame and a partially fluid-tight region is formed between the first housing frameand the second housing frame by the shape and material properties of the first housing frame and the second housing frame. The partially fluid-tight region forms the channel and the channel is arranged to allow a coolant to flow through the channel.

Channel for cooling at least one battery cell and method for forming a channel

A method and system for thermal connection of a heat source of a battery system to a heat sink of the battery system are provided. The method includes implementing of a placing process using a placing device, wherein a distance between an electrically conducting housing surface of the heat source and an electrically conducting heat-transmission surface that is part of the heat sink or is adjacent to it, is reduced by compression of an electrically insulating heat-conducting material. The method also includes implementing of a continuous measurement of capacitance between the housing surface and the heat-transmission surface during the placing process using a measuring device. Additionally, the method includes monitoring of a layer thickness of the heat-conducting material and controlling of the placing device using a control device until a prescribed layer thickness of the heat-conducting material is attained based on the capacitance measurement.

Method and system for thermally connecting a heat source of a battery system to a heat sink of a battery system

The present disclosure includes a cooling device with a cooling plate for an energy storage unit to be cooled that is arranged or capable of being arranged thereupon and that is in thermal contact with the cooling plate, wherein a thermally conductive foil and a thermally conductive filler layer are arranged between the energy storage unit and the cooling plate.

Heat exchanger for an electrical component in a motor vehicle and production method

Embodiments disclose a fluidic safety valve comprising a valve housing including at least one fluid inlet opening and at least one fluid outlet opening. A closing element, guided in the valve housing, is preloaded by a spring element at a predetermined preloading force toward a closed position of the safety valve. In the closed position, a fluid flow from the at least one fluid inlet opening toward the at least one fluid outlet opening is blocked. When a predetermined fluid pressure is reached, the closing element moves toward an open position of the safety valve, enabling a fluid flow from the at least one fluid inlet opening toward the at least one fluid outlet opening. The valve housing is sealed by a valve housing sealing element comprising an effective fluid pressure force surface coupled to the closing element and configured to carry along the closing element relative to the housing.
