A method for profiling blades of an axial turbomachine includes preparing a geometric model of a blade profile; determining an oscillation mode of the geometric model; calculating a time profile of a position-dependent disruptive pressure in a channel between two adjacent blade profiles over an oscillation period of the oscillation belonging to the oscillation mode, changing the geometric model and determining a different oscillation mode for the modified geometric model; and determining the damping of the oscillation using the disruptive pressure profile calculated previously and accepting the modified geometric model for the case that the damping of the oscillation turns out to be greater than calculated, otherwise repeating the last two steps with another modified geometric model.

Method for profiling blades of an axial turbomachine

A bladed rotor system includes first and second sets of blades with respective airfoils each having at least one internal cavity. The airfoils of both the first and second sets of blades have identical outer shapes defined by an outer surface of an outer wall of the respective airfoils. The airfoils of the first set of blades are distinguished from the airfoils of the second set of blades by a geometry and/or position of at the least one internal cavity, which is unique to blades of a given set. The natural frequency of a blade of the first set differs from the natural frequency of a blade of the second set by a predetermined amount. The blades of the first set and the second set are alternately arranged in a periodic fashion in said circumferential row, to provide a frequency mistuning to stabilize flutter of the blades.

Mistuning of turbine blades with one or more internal cavities

A method for profiling a turbine rotor blade for an axial flow machine, having the following steps: providing a geometric model of a blade profile, having a camber line of a profile section of the turbine rotor blade; determining boundary conditions for a flow flowing around the turbine rotor blade; changing the camber line such that the flow which is adjusted by the boundary conditions produces the maximum of the difference of the isentropic mach number between the pressure side and the suction side of the turbine rotor blade in a blade section which extends from the blade trailing edge in the direction towards the blade leading edge and the length of which is 65% of the length S of the blade chord.

Method for profiling a turbine rotor blade

A gas turbine includes an insert element for fastening to a ring segment body of a turbine of the gas turbine. The ring segment body has a recess on a hot gas side. The insert element is designed to cover the recess. The insert element includes a cover plate, which has a concavely shaped front side and a back side, and at least one foot arranged on the back side for positioning on the ring segment body. A mounting method includes mounting the insert element where the insert element is fixed to a recess of a ring segment body of a turbine of a gas turbine.

Gas turbine and mounting method

An insert element fastens to an annular segment body of a turbine of a gas turbine. The annular segment body has a recess on a hot-gas side. The insert element is designed to cover the recess and has a concave front side and a rear side having at least one shaped portion for positioning on the annular segment body. An annular segment has the insert element, a gas turbine has the insert element, and a mounting method mounts the insert element.
