The invention relates to an array for optical evaluation of an object array, to which a microlens array (MLA), preferably an exchangeable and/or rotational microlens array, and a field lens with an illuminating device coupled by means of a beam splitter, preferably a rotational beam splitter, are pre-assigned in the direction of a detector array, wherein said illuminating device is coupled between the field lens and an objective.

Array for optical evaluation of an object array

A method sets up a device for image reproduction on printing plates. The fastening of image reproduction members, their orientation and tolerances, and also tolerances in the positioning of the image reproduction members on a guide or a spindle, lead to mis-positions of the image reproduction members in relation to one another. Offsets of two adjacent image parts may occur. In the method, the printing plate has reproduced on it in the X-direction at least one first pattern which overlaps with the first pattern of an adjacent image reproduction member and/or the printing plate, in each case with a right and a left column, has reproduced on it in the Y-direction in each case at least three spaced-apart second patterns, such that in each case the right column of an image part is at least contiguous to the left column of an adjacent image part.

Method for setting a device for image reproduction on printing plates

A method and a test form for equalizing exposure heads of an exposer recording printing originals onto a recording material with exposure heads, with regard to the area coverage recorded. Each head contains a laser module generating a laser beam and focusing it onto the material. Each head records a recording band, the laser beams sweeping over the recording material in a main scanning direction while the heads are moved along the material in a secondary scanning direction. A test exposure is carried out, in which each head records a test form having test areas and a background area in its recording band. The area coverage recorded of the background area is compared visually with area coverages recorded of test areas of an adjacent test form and, from differences thereof in adjacent test forms, corrective values for the laser power of the laser modules in the exposure heads are calculated.

Method and test form for equalizing the exposure heads in an exposer for printing originals

Measuring a feed spindle length change in a printing exposer, having at least one exposure head on a carrier moved axially along the drum in a feed direction by a stepping motor and the spindle, carries out the measurement by determining the number of stepping motor cycles needed by the carrier to travel through a reference section parallel to the feed direction. During calibration, an optimum number of cycles per revolution of the exposure drum is set, and the number of cycles needed to travel through the reference section is determined. During an operating phase, the number of cycles needed to travel through the reference section is determined and a corrected number of cycles per revolution of the exposure drum is determined in accordance with the relationship K=K&#xd7;M/M. The temperature of the components involved in the measurement is kept constant with a temperature control system.

Apparatus and method for measuring the length change of the feed spindle in an exposer for printing originals

A device sets the focus of at least one exposure head on a recording material, in particular a printing plate, in an exposer for recording printing originals. An exposer has an exposure drum for holding the printing plates, and an exposure-head carrier, which contains a carrier plate for holding exposure heads, and a carrier base. The carrier plate and the carrier base are connected such that they can move by a hinge which is disposed on the front side of the exposure-head carrier, facing the exposure drum. The rear of the carrier plate is raised or lowered by a tilting drive, as a result of which the exposure heads are moved jointly and substantially radially toward the exposure drum or away from the exposure drum. The hinge is preferably formed from at least one spring plate.
