An optical assembly () is provided, including an optical functional unit (), a housing (), which at least partly encloses the optical functional unit (), and an adjusting device (), by which a desired position of the optical functional unit () relative to an optical axis () of the optical assembly () is settable. The adjusting device () is configured to the effect that the position of the optical functional unit () is set by way of an operative connection () between an actuation part () and a holding part () of the adjusting device (). The operative connection () is configured in the region of a closed housing wall (), and wherein the optical functional unit (), after the setting of the desired position, is fixable in this position.

Optical assembly

The invention relates to an endoscope (), comprising an endoscope tube () fastened to a main body (). According to the invention a connection piece (), to which a cannula end () of a cannula () that can be placed onto the endoscope tube () can be fastened, is arranged on the endoscope tube () in such a way that the connection piece is axially movable between a first position and a second position, wherein a shaped element () of the main body () and a counter-shaped element () of the connection piece () form a rotation-prevention mechanism in the first position and enable a rotational motion of the connection piece () about a longitudinal axis of the endoscope tube () in the second position.

Endoscope

A control valve () for a medical suction device () is provided, with the control valve () having an actuating element for freeing and closing a flow path () through a valve chamber () through the use of a valve plunger (). Additional air intake openings () are formed on the actuating element () and define an additional flow path () through the valve chamber ().

An endoscope () has a handle () as well as a probe part () that can be connected thereto via a coupling (), with an illumination device as well as an eye-piece () with an imaging optic being arranged in the handle () and image conductors and light conductors in the probe part (). The coupling includes an image interface and a light interface. In the coupling area, at least one axially engaging guide () as well as bayonet-like engaging coupling parts () are provided, one of which is embodied as a rotational locking part (). In the final locked position the locking part () is secured by a snap. Preferably, the coupling () is provided with an axially engaging guide and additionally axially engaging guides () are provided of the illumination system and the image transmission system, which are particularly arranged side-by-side.

An endoscope () is provided having a handle () and a probe part () that can be connected thereto, with an illumination system comprising at least one light emitting diode () and a video system having an image receiver being arranged in the handle (). A carrier element () made of a heat-conducting material is provided for at least one light emitting diode () inside the handle (), to which the light emitting diode () is directly connected. The carrier element thermally contacts the housing parts and/or installation parts of the handle () and the probe part () for heat conductivity and/or dissipation.
