A sensor device for measuring a magnetic field in the region of a primary part of a permanently excited electrical machine or a corresponding primary part having teeth includes a sensor metal plate for conducting a magnetic field, a spacer, and a sensor for measuring a magnetic field. A distance between the sensor metal plate and a flank of a tooth of the primary part can be created by the spacer. The sensor may be a Hall sensor and is arranged in a region of the sensor metal plate between the sensor metal plate and the primary part.

The aim of the invention is to provide a robust, simple woodworking machine. To achieve this, the invention provides a machine comprising at least one linear direct drive, which contains a primary part () with a first element () for generating a first magnetic field and at least one additional element () for generating an additional magnetic field. An electric machine includes a stator and a rotor interacting with the stator, wherein the stator and/or the rotor has/have a conducting device for guiding a magnetic flux. The conducting device includes a gap which is provided in a path of the magnetic flux, and a sensor which is received in the gap for measuring the magnetic flux.
