A turbocharger, has a turbine for expanding a first medium and a compressor for compressing a second medium. The turbine includes a turbine housing and a turbine rotor. The compressor includes a compressor housing and a compressor rotor coupled to the turbine rotor via a shaft. A bearing housing is arranged between the compressor and turbine housings in which the shaft is mounted. The turbine and bearing housings are connected via a fastening device mounted on a flange of the turbine housing with a first section and a second section that covers a flange of the bearing housing at least in sections. The fastening device is contoured curved on a surface of the second section facing the flange of the bearing housing.

Turbocharger

A turbocharger with a turbine for expanding a first medium and a compressor for compressing a second medium utilizing energy extracted in the turbine during the expansion of the first medium. The turbine comprises a turbine housing and a turbine rotor. The turbine housing is connected to a bearing housing. An inflow housing of the turbine housing is formed in a double-walled manner, namely of an inner flow-conducting core and an outer force-conducting shell.

A turbocharger, includes a turbine for expanding a first medium, the turbine has a turbine housing and a turbine rotor, a compressor for compressing a second medium, having a compressor housing and a compressor rotor that is coupled to the turbine rotor via a shaft. The turbine housing and the compressor housing are each connected to a bearing housing arranged between them, in which the shaft is mounted. In a connecting region between an inflow housing of the turbine housing and the bearing housing a sealing cover is arranged. On a radially inner section of the sealing cover a projection extending in the axial direction is formed, which engages into a groove introduced into the bearing housing forming a radially inner fit and a radially outer fit.

The turbine includes a housing with a turbine inflow housing and a turbine rotor. The compressor has a compressor housing and a compressor rotor coupled to the turbine rotor via a shaft. The turbine inflow housing is constructed in a spiral-like, one-piece and double-walled manner such that between an outer wall of the turbine inflow housing and an inner wall of the turbine inflow housing a water duct for conducting cooling water is formed. The inner wall delimiting the water duct on a side of the inner wall facing away from the water duct is directly followed by a guide duct of the first medium to be expanded.
