The invention relates to a plain bearing composite material, comprising a supporting layer () made of steel, a bearing metal layer () made of copper or a copper alloy, which is applied to the supporting layer (), and a functional layer () made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, which is applied to the bearing metal layer ().

Plain bearing composite material

A plain bearing bushing is formed from a material strip, wherein a first joining end of the material strip has a projection and a second joining end has a recess interacting with the projection, a base side of the projection being oriented towards the first joining end. A bushing is to be provided that is designed to be more advantageous with respect to the production method, in particular during the forming process, and with respect to dimensional tolerance and long-term stability. This is achieved by a bushing with clamping elements in which the joining ends of the material strip are fixed both in axial direction and in circumferential direction of the bushing in a frictionally engaged and/or formfitting manner.

The invention relates to a sliding bearing and to a method for producing a sliding bearing, having at least one groove formed on the sliding surface which extends at least partially in the axial direction of a mounted shaft, ends on at least one end before the edge of the bearing and is deeper than 80 &#x3bc;m and/or wider than 150 &#x3bc;m, so that dirt and/or particles can be embedded.

A slide bearing has a layered structure which is substantially uniform over the circumference thereof and comprises a base (), a lead-free slide layer () having a thickness which is reduced in edge zones () as compared to a central zone between the edge zones (), and a polymer coating () which is thicker in the edge zones () as compared to the central zone, so that the surface level of the coating () is substantially flat as seen in axial cross-section.

A plain bearing shell includes a slide face of which, in the region of the apex of the plain bearing shell, is convexly curved in the axial direction at least at the edge regions, wherein the curvature is at its most pronounced at the apex of the plain bearing shell and decreases continuously in the circumferential direction of the plain bearing shell toward the two partial surfaces. A method for producing such a plain bearing shell is also provided.

A lubricated plain bearing having at least one dirt guide groove formed on the sliding surface, which dirt guide groove extends at least partially to a greater extent in the circumferential direction of the bearing shell than in the axial direction of a shaft mounted therein, extends as far as an edge of the bearing and is open at the edge, such that dirt particles transported by the dirt guide groove to the edge can be discharged to the outside.

A plain bearing having a depository surface which has at least one depository and which is a sliding surface and/or a surface of an oil supply groove, wherein the depository is a cutout which is open in the direction of the depository surface and which has a depository a wall and which extends away from the depository surface into the bearing, wherein the depository wall, in the direction of extent, forms an acute angle with a reference direction, wherein the reference direction is the tangent to the depository surface at the point at which the depository wall intersects the depository surface in the direction away from the depository.
