It is provided an adjustment mechanism, comprising a closure flap for at least partially closing a closure opening on a vehicle, via which, when the closure flap is opened, a connection element for connecting a line and/or a port for topping up a liquid, in particular a fuel, is accessible, a drive for adjusting the closure flap by external force in response to an operator control event, and an electronic control unit which is coupled to the drive and by means of which the drive is activated to open the closure flap in response to an operator control event which is detected in a contactless manner, and, on the other hand, is automatically stopped or reversed in so far as, when the closure flap closes, a possible obstacle is detected in a contactless manner in the adjustment path of the closure flap by means of an anti-pinch mechanism.

The invention relates to a control system for a motor vehicle, including a first electronic control system for controlling a first load current of a first load and a second electronic control system for controlling a second load current of a second load. The first electronic control system and the second electronic control system are arranged at a distance from one another and are connected to one another. At least the second electronic control system has a sleep mode and an operating mode, and only the first electronic control system can switch the second electronic control system from the sleep mode into the operating mode.

Heating of a functional unit is started by a control device. An actual temperature or a parameter dependent on the actual temperature is monitored during, and optionally before and after the actual heating of the functional unit. A characteristic feature of the time course of the actual temperature or of the parameters dependent on the heating temperature, which determines the phase transition of water, serves for the evaluation and control of the heating. Analysis of the characteristic features is used to control the heating power of the heating elements. Threshold values and further factors such as proportionality factors for the controller, for example, are determined depending upon significant characteristics. The threshold values and factors are also particularly used for a subsequent starting of the heating using the corresponding analysis and control.

A method for adjusting a window glass of a motor vehicle, with anti-trap protection, in particular on a cabriolet or coupe, with a motor-driven and electronically controlled adjustment mechanism. In a partly open position of the window glass a gap exists between a side edge of the glass and an adjacent glass edge of a further window glass, or of a chassis component, for example, the pillar of a door frame. The gap is closed on closing the window glass by &lsqb;means of a&rsqb; movement in the Z- and X-axes. The window glass moves essentially vertically (in the Z-axis), on going from the at least partly opened position to an almost completely closed glass position, while maintaining a vertical gap, between the side edge of the glass and an adjacent sealing edge of a further window glass or a chassis component and, in the last phase of the closing process, an essentially horizontal displacement (in the X-axis) and/or a rotary movement of the window glass occurs about the transverse axis (Y-axis).

Method and device for adjusting a window glass, in particular on a cabriolet, with anti-trap protection

A method and apparatus for electrically controlling and regulating the movement of an electrically operated aggregate of a motor vehicle, such as a window lifter or sliding roof. A correlation variable for the adjustment force of the aggregate is measured for the purpose of anti-jamming protection. An adjusting movement is switched off or reversed if the adjustment force exceeds a limit value which corresponds to the maximum permissible jamming force. The sensitivity of the anti-jamming system is automatically raised when the motor vehicle is at a standstill. A rough road filter is preferably deactivated so that in the event of jamming, an adjusting movement is switched off or reversed without any time delay. The highest possible level of safety is provided using anti-jamming protection when the vehicle is at a standstill.
