A wave winding for an electric machine in which a quantity of coil strands are provided connected in parallel. Each partial strand is a plurality of hairpins. Two different variants of hairpins are provided. A first variant in the turn region W has a winding step WK between the conductor elements which is shortened by one and in a second variant of the hairpins the turn region has a lengthened winding step that is greater than the shortened winding step. In all of the variants of the hairpins the contact regions are deformed by one half of the standard winding step in direction opposite the turn region.

Winding scheme for an electric machine

A coil with a distributed winding formed from hairpins that each have two straight-line conductor portions arranged in different slots of a coil body. Contact regions shaped in circumferential direction adjoin the conductor portions at one axial end and are connected at the other axial end through a turning region. The contact regions have at the end remote of the coil body a connection portion that are aligned in radially extending rows. The contact regions of a layer are shaped in the same circumferential direction. A portion of the contact regions of an outer layer is deformed in radial direction to form an additional, and these contact regions are shaped in a circumferential direction opposite to the contact regions of the outer layer.

Coil with a hairpin winding and method for producing said coil

An insulating unit for an electric machine with hairpin winding. The hairpin winding has a plurality of connection pins for electrically connecting to an interconnect and a plurality of welded hairpin ends. A base body is provided having an insulating material and extends at least over a portion of the circumference of the hairpin winding. The base body has a receiving area which faces the hairpin winding and which has openings for receiving the hairpin ends. The dividing walls are provided between the openings in circumferential direction, and the openings and/or dividing walls have fasteners for engaging connection to the hairpin ends.

Insulating unit for an electric machine

A stator for an electric machine having an annular lamination stack with a longitudinal axis and slots extending along the longitudinal axis, at least three electrical phases, each of which has two partial strands, a plurality of rings connected in series to form a partial strand, a plurality of connection wires arranged to form a ring in adjacent layers of the slots, and a power connection for electrically connecting the stator. The connection wires are connected by pairs at a contacting side of the lamination stack for connecting adjacent layers at contacting areas. The power connection is arranged at the contacting side, and the connection wires are closed in each instance at an opposed contacting side opposite the contacting side.
