A vehicle, in particular to a rail vehicle, has at least one drive motor and a brake control device. A monitoring device measures, in the braking mode of the vehicle, at least one drive current which flows through the drive motor, and at least one drive voltage which is applied to the drive motor, to form measured values, and to generate operational information which specifies the mode of operation of the drive motor, in particular braking information which specifies a braking effect of the drive motor, on the basis of the measured values.

A method for braking a train set having guiding and guided locomotives interconnected by a time multiplex train bus, includes detecting actual operating current of the guided locomotive, detecting actual operating current of the guiding locomotive, detecting maximum return current, detecting pneumatic braking request of compressed air brake line, determining maximum return current and target braking of the guided locomotive from actual operating current of the guided locomotive, actual operating current of the guiding locomotive, maximum operating current and pneumatic braking request of the brake line, and electrically braking the train set using electrical target braking, while not exceeding maximum return current of the guided locomotive. The maximum current fed back by the guided locomotive is known, and the guided locomotive controlled through the main air line is braked while not exceeding the maximum return current. The braking force is divided by blending among E and pneumatic brakes.

Method and device for braking a train set

A circuit has a fluid line matrix and brake components connected to the fluid line matrix. Changes in the brake designs or brake functions can be carried out easily in that at least one interface is provided for connecting a distributor block. The interface is designed such that a configuration of the fluid line matrix can be formed by connecting or exchanging the distributor block. There is also described a distributor block which is suitable for forming a configuration of the fluid line matrix of the circuit by connecting to the at least one interface of the circuit.

A system for the supraregional operation of a vehicle includes at least one control device. A first vehicle bus can be connected to the control device, wherein a defined number of first control apparatuses can be connected to the first vehicle bus; and a second vehicle bus can be connected to the control device, wherein a defined number of second control apparatuses can be connected to the second vehicle bus. The control device provides for a defined minimum functionality during a moving transition of the vehicle from a defined first region into a defined second region. The control device changes a functionality for the second control apparatuses during the moving transition from the first region into the second region, and the control device is configured to control the coordination of the changing of the functionality of the second control apparatuses.

System and method for the supraregional operation of a vehicle

A compressed air brake device for a rail vehicle with a direct, electropneumatic brake has a brake control unit which has a brake control device with connected brake actuators and a brake pilot control pressure sensor connected to the brake actuators. An independent monitoring control unit is arranged in parallel to the brake control unit. The monitoring control unit has a monitoring control device with connected monitoring actuators and a monitoring pilot control pressure sensor. A monitoring pilot control pressure at the output of the monitoring actuators is closed-loop controlled using the monitoring pilot control pressure sensor. The higher pressure of a brake pilot control pressure and the monitoring pilot control pressure or, in the case of a fault of the brake control unit, the monitoring pilot control pressure can be relayed to the brake cylinder.
