A circuit board assembly includes a circuit board having at least one conductive inner layer and at least one surface. Contact areas or surfaces and electrical and/or electronic components are disposed on the surface and electrically connected to the contact areas. At least two of the contact areas are connected to one another by an electrically conductive strip having ends each being connected to a respective one of the contact areas. The at least two contact areas and the electrically conductive strip have a width of at least 8 mm and the strip has a thickness that is at least double the thickness of the at least one inner layer.

Printed circuit board assembly

A method is specified for monitoring an electronic control unit for a motor vehicle. An electronic control unit with a monitoring circuit, which contains at least one sensor component, is provided. A measured value is recorded by means of the at least one sensor component, on the basis of which an actual value of a characteristic value representative for the thermal, mechanical and/or chemical loading of the control unit is determined and compared with a predetermined set-point value. A signal is emitted as a function of the result of the comparison. A device and a control unit are additionally specified.

Method for monitoring an electronic control unit and control unit for a motor vehicle

A printed circuit board includes a busbar applied to a surface of the printed circuit board. The busbar is configured as a sequence of sheet metal conductor pieces which are connected to each other in an electrically conducting manner. The respective ends of the conductor pieces may have a rounded portion and a corresponding cutout, or a point and a corresponding indentation. An electrical controller, a motor vehicle and a printed circuit board configuration having at least one printed circuit board are also provided.

High current-carrying printed circuit board and method for producing said printed circuit board

A mounting configuration for a plurality of printed circuit boards that are arranged one above the other and equipped with electrical components. The printed circuit boards are fixed in a housing assembly formed with a bottom and a top for receiving the printed circuit boards. Engagement holes are positioned congruently in the printed circuit boards, the housing bottom, and the housing top, such that the printed circuit boards, the housing bottom and the housing top can be fixed relative to one another by way of at least one fastener.
