Blown films, especially monolayer blown films, with an improved property profile, the blown films comprising at least 95.0 wt % of a specific heterophasic propylene copolymer (TERHECO).

New CCrandom copolymer composition, which shows improved sealing behaviour due to low sealing initiation temperature (SIT) and high hot tack force. In addition, the inventive composition shows an excellent sterilization behaviour, i.e. retention of low haze level after sterilization. The present invention is furthermore related to the manufacture of said copolymer composition and to its use.

C2C3 random copolymer composition

The present invention relates to a multilayer film comprising at least two outer layers and at least one core layer, at least one of the outer layers comprises component a1), the other outer layer comprises component a1) or a2). Component a1) is a terpolymer of propylene, ethylene and one C4 to C10 α-olefin; having ethylene content in the range of 0.1 to 8.0 wt.-%, C4 to C10 α-olefin content in the range of 0.1 to 16.0 wt.-%, and a melt flow rate MFR0.5 to 12.0 g/10 min. Component a2) is a polypropylene having a melting temperature of at least 150° C. The core layer comprises a heterophasic propylene copolymer b) having MFRof 0.3 to 20.0 g/10 min, XCS content of 16.0 to 50.0 wt.-%, and comonomer content of 11.5 to 21.0 mol-%, comprising a matrix being a random propylene copolymer b1) and an elastomeric propylene copolymer b2) dispersed in said matrix.

Multilayer film with improved properties

The present invention is directed to a multilayer structure. More specifically, the present invention is directed to a polypropylene multilayer extrusion laminate structure which provides sufficient thermal resistance and mechanical properties, and which multilayer structure can be recycled. The present invention is further directed to a process for producing the multilayer structure by an extrusion lamination process.

A heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer composition having an MFRof 1.0 to 5.0 g/10 min, a C2 content of 0.8 to 6.0 mol-%, and a Tof 153.0 to 159.0° C., comprising: a) a crystalline matrix (M) being a propylene homo- or copolymer, preferably a homopolymer; and b) an amorphous propylene-ethylene elastomer (E); wherein the heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer composition is characterized in terms of its soluble fraction (SF) and crystalline fraction (CF) as determined by CRYSTEX QC analysis: i) from 85.0 to 90.0 wt.-% of a crystalline fraction (CF) having an iV(CF) of 2.00 to 3.00 dl/g, a C2(CF) of 0.0 to 1.5 mol-%; and ii) from 10.0 to 15.0 wt.-% of a soluble fraction (SF) having an iV(SF) of 1.30 to 2.50 dl/g and a C2(SF) of 25.0 to 40.0 mol-%.

The present invention relates to a multilayer blown film including at least one skin layer (A) including a Ziegler Natta catalyzed heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO) and one inner layer (B) including a metallocene catalyzed propylene based random copolymer (PRC), and optionally one core layer (C) including either a Ziegler Natta catalyzed heterophasic propylene copolymer (HECO) or a metallocene catalyzed propylene based random copolymer (PRC).
