A motor vehicle including a drive unit with an electric machine, wherein the electric machine is a directly cooled electric machine, a transmission, a first cooling loop for cooling assemblies of the directly cooled electric machine using a first dielectric coolant which flows directly around respective assemblies of the electric machine, a second cooling loop for cooling the transmission using a second coolant designed as a transmission oil, and a third cooling loop using a third coolant. The first cooling loop and the third cooling loop are coupled via a first heat exchanger, and the second cooling loop and the third cooling loop are coupled via a second heat exchanger.

A stator for an electric machine includes a laminated stator core having stator slots arranged along an axial direction parallel to a stator axis, electric conductors arranged in the stator slots; and fluidtight slot insulators arranged in the stator slots between the electric conductors and the laminated stator core, wherein the slot insulators each have a cooling channel spaced apart from the electric conductors in a radial direction arranged orthogonally to the axial direction.

An electric motor vehicle traction motor has a motor housing, a liquid-cooled motor stator and a dry running internal motor rotor which is separated fluidically from the motor stator. The motor stator is formed by a stator body with radial stator slots and a plurality of stator coils. The axial phase windings are arranged in the stator slots, and the winding heads of protrude axially out of the stator slots. A slot potted body is made from a potting material and by way of which the stator coil axial phase windings are potted into the stator slots in a fluid-tight manner. The stator coil winding heads are of potting-free configuration and protrude in each case directly into a fluid-tight cooling space. As a result of the omission of a separate split cage, a small air gap is realized and manufacturing costs are reduced.

A stator of an electric machine includes: a laminated stator core having sheet-metal blanks, which have slots; and stator windings, which are arranged in the slots of the laminated stator core together with slot insulation, such that, within the slots, a respective slot insulation is positioned between the sheet-metal blanks and the stator windings in order to electrically insulate the stator windings from a sheet-metal material of the sheet-metal blanks, and such that, when viewed in an axial direction, the stator windings protrude from the slots, project laterally with respect to the laminated stator core, and form winding overhangs laterally adjacent to the laminated stator core. When viewed in a radial direction, coolant flow channels are formed radially on an inside and/or radially on an outside, directly adjacent to the slots accommodating the stator windings. The stator windings accommodated in the slots of the laminated stator core are impregnated.

A canned motor, including: a motor housing, a stator fixed to the motor housing, a rotor mounted on the motor housing so as to be rotatable relative to the stator about an axis of rotation, a can fixed to the stator radially between the stator and the rotor, at least one annular seal carrier fixed to the motor housing, radially inside the can, at an axial stator end, and at least one annular seal supported radially and axially on the seal carrier, the at least one annular seal configured to seal off a rotor space, in which the rotor is arranged, from a stator space through which a coolant can flow, wherein the stator space has a main region and an annular region, which extends from the at least one annular seal along the seal carrier and merges into the main region at a distance from the seal.

A canned motor includes a stator with a laminated core and a winding with winding heads, and including a rotor, which is mounted so as to be rotatable relative to the stator, and a can element, which is arranged between the stator and the rotor, and a support ring, which is coupled to the can element. The support ring on its own and/or together with the can element provides a support section which extends at least partially axially adjacent to the laminated core. The support section lies with a seal section against a seal device such that a rotor space is sealed off in coolant-tight fashion with respect to a stator space.

A method for producing a stator includes: providing a main body, the main body having: a cavity for accommodating a rotor, and a plurality of slots, extending axially through the main body, the plurality of slots accommodating electrical conductors of a winding, providing slot insulation so as to ensure that a slot interior of each slot of the plurality of slots is electrically insulated from the main body and is fluidtight; and forming a respective end plate on each of two ends of the main body, the end plates being attached in a fluidtight manner to the main body so as to ensure that no fluid can get between the end plate and the main body and reach the cavity of the main body. Each end plate has a radial part and an axial part, and the axial part has an insert.

A temperature control arrangement () of a motor vehicle has an electric machine () with a rotor () and a stator (), a stator cooling arrangement with a first cooling circuit () for cooling the stator () with a first cooling medium () flowing in the first cooling circuit () that is formed by a motor vehicle cooling circuit, a rotor cooling arrangement with a second cooling circuit () for cooling the rotor () with a second cooling medium () flowing in the second cooling circuit () that is formed by a transmission oil cooling circuit, a heat exchanger () that thermally couples the first cooling circuit () and the second cooling circuit (). The stator cooling arrangement is configured such that the first cooling medium () makes direct contact with the stator windings.

Arrangement for cooling an electric machine in a motor vehicle, and method for operating the arrangement

An electric machine () has a housing () in which a stator () and a rotatable rotor () are arranged. The stator () is of hollow-cylindrical design and is arranged in a stator chamber () of the housing (). The rotor () is arranged radially inside the stator () in a rotor chamber (). An air gap () is provided between the rotor () and the stator () to permit rotation of the rotor () relative to the stator (). The stator chamber () is delimited radially on the inside by a cylindrical wall () that is sealed with respect to the housing () by at least one sealing element (). The housing () has at least one axially projecting protrusion () that forms an axial end face () and a radially outwardly facing circumferential shoulder () that supports the sealing element ().

An electrical drive device includes a stator and a rotor. The stator has a main body and windings of an electromagnetic coil. The main body has clearances, and the windings are at least partially arranged in the clearances. The stator has two coolant inlets and a coolant collecting device with a coolant outlet. The coolant inlets are in fluidic connection with the coolant outlet by way of the clearances.
