A vehicle has a drive motor and a refrigerant circuit. The refrigerant circuit includes, when viewed in the direction of flow of the refrigerant, a compressor, a gas cooler or condenser, an expansion device and an evaporator. The refrigerant circuit has a first shut-off element which is arranged outside of an area arranged between the drive motor and the evaporator.

Vehicle having a refrigerant circuit

A method of operating a refrigerant circuit as a heat pump is provided. By way of a compressor, refrigerant is compressed and is pumped through a refrigerant/heating heat exchanger. The refrigerant coming from the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger is expanded in at least a first expansion element. The refrigerant expanded by way of the first expansion element flows to a suction input of the compressor through at least one evaporator. At a branch-off point of the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger situated between a refrigerant input and a refrigerant output of the refrigerant/heating heat exchanger, refrigerant is branched off and is guided by way of a second expansion element in the direction of the suction input of the refrigerant compressor.

Method for operating a refrigerant circuit as a heat pump and heat pump operable as a refrigerant circuit

An apparatus and method for active gap monitoring for a continuous flow machine, in particular an aircraft propulsion device, which has a rotor and a housing which surrounds the rotor forming a rotor gap, is disclosed. The apparatus having a cooling channel which is arranged on the external circumference of the rotor housing and is supplied with cooling air from a plenum. The cross section of the cooling channel decreases from the plenum in the circumferential direction. This ensures homogenous cooling and reduces the weight of the apparatus.

Apparatus and method for active gap monitoring for a continuous flow machine

A device () for suspending gas channel elements, in particular for suspending guide blades or guide blade segments or gas channel segments, on a housing of a gas turbines is provided. The device comprises first plate-shaped elements () and second plate-shaped elements (), whereby the first plate-shaped elements () and the second plate-shaped elements () are connected together by web-like elements () which extend in an essentially perpendicular manner in relation to the first and second elements and form a meandering or crenelated profile.

Device for suspending guide blades

A method is provided for controlling the evaporator temperature in a vehicle air conditioner having an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser and an expansion element, in which the evaporator temperature is adjusted as a function of operating conditions. An evaporator temperature control, in conjunction with an optimizing of consumption and comfort, is achieved in that a first evaporator temperature value (T ) is determined with respect to a desired air humidity, a second evaporator temperature value (T ) is continuously determined for ensuring a sufficient cooling capacity, and the lowest of the two evaporator temperature values is selected as the evaporator temperature (T ) to be set.
