The disclosure relates to a method for operating a handheld power tool having an electric motor, the method comprising: Sproviding at least one model signal waveform that is associated with a work progress of the handheld power tool; Sdetermining a signal of an operating variable of the electric motor; Scomparing the signal of the operating variable with the model signal waveform and determining a conformity evaluation on the basis thereof; Sidentifying the work progress at least partially using the conformity evaluation; Sexecuting a first routine of the handheld power tool at least partially on the basis of the work progress identified in method step S. The disclosure also relates to a handheld power tool, in particular an impact driver, comprising an electric motor and a control unit, wherein the control unit is designed to carry out a method according to the disclosure.

Method for operating a handheld power tool

Method for detecting a first operating state of a handheld power tool, wherein the handheld power tool has an electric motor. In this case, the method comprises the steps of: (S) determining a signal of an operating variable of the electric motor; (S) comparing the signal of the operating variable with at least one model signal waveform typical of the state, wherein the model signal waveform typical of the state is assigned to the first operating state; (S) deciding whether the first operating state is present, wherein the decision at least partially depends on whether the model signal waveform typical of the state is identified in the signal of the operating variable in step SAdditionally disclosed is a handheld power tool, particularly an impact driver, with an electric motor and a control unit, wherein the control unit is designed to execute a method according to the disclosure.

Method for detecting a first operating state of a handheld power tool

A hand-held power tool which includes a gear housing with a gear for transmitting a torque, generated by a drive motor, to a spindle. The gear housing is exchangeably connectable to a tool attachment via an interface in such a way that a torque is transmitted from the spindle to an input spindle of the tool attachment. The interface includes a housing-side interface element with a flange ring, which is connected to the gear housing in a torsionally stiff manner. The housing-side interface element corresponds to a tool attachment-side interface element which includes a fastening ring that is rotatably supported on the tool attachment. The fastening ring is brought into engagement with the flange ring by a coupled rotatory and axial relative movement of the fastening ring with respect to the flange ring so that the fastening ring and the flange ring together form a bayonet-type connector.

In a handheld machine tool having a tool housing, in which a drive motor is situated for driving a drive element equipped with at least one clamping surface, to which a spindle-locking device equipped with a blocking element and at least one spindle cylinder is assigned, the at least one spindle cylinder being able to be clamped in a spindle-lock operation of the spindle-locking device between the at least one clamping surface and the blocking element to prevent the drive element from rotating relative to the tool housing, wherein a positioning element associated with the spindle locking device is situated at least in sections on the at least one clamping surface, the positioning element being situated at least partially in the region between the at least one spindle cylinder and the at least one clamping surface.
