The present invention concerns a compression wedge of a lead-through system. The wedge is moveable between two extremes and has distinct stops at the extremes. The distinct stops are given by co-operating stop edges (). In one embodiment two of the stop edges () are provided on a screw (). One end of the screw () is received inside a socket () fastened to a first wedge element (). A second end of the screw () is fastened to a second wedge element (). The socket () and screw () are mutually moveable in an axial direction of the screw (). One stop edge () is provided in an inner opening () of the socket () and one stop edge () is provided in an opening of the first wedge element ().

Distinct stops of a compression wedge

The present invention concerns an indication means using the positions of two mutually moveable parts of an element. In one embodiment the indication means is used for a compression wedge of a lead-through system. The wedge comprises a first and a second wedge element () moveable towards and away from each other between two extremes. A socket () is fastened in a rotatable way to the first wedge element () and a screw () is fixed to the second wedge element (). One coloured end () of the screw () is received in a through opening () of the socket (). The inner surface of said through opening has another colour than the coloured end () of the screw (). The mutual position of the first and second wedge elements () are controlled by rotation of the socket () on the screw ().

Indication means of a wedge of a lead-through system

The present invention concerns a wedge comprising four wedge elements (). A first wedge element () and a second wedge element () are arranged moveable towards and away from each other. A third wedge element () and a fourth wedge element () are placed on opposite sides of the first two wedge elements () abutting the two first wedge elements () along sloping surfaces. The third and fourth wedge elements () will be moved away from each other when the first and second wedge elements () are moved toward each other and will be free to move toward each other when the first and second wedge elements () are moved away from each other. The movement is accomplished in that a first part () is fixed rotatable in the first wedge element () and that a second part () is fixed non-rotatable in the second wedge element (). The first and second parts () have co-operating threads that are so arranged that the first and second parts () will move relative each other when the first part () is rotated relative the second part ().

Compression wedge

The present invention concerns a compression wedge of a lead-through system. The compression wedge comprises a number of wedge elements (). At least one of the wedge elements () has a core () of a harder material than an outer part surrounding the core (). The part surrounding the core () is made of an elastic material. The wedge is moved between a non-compression state and a compression state by means of one single screw () co-operating with a socket ().

Wedge of a lead-through system

A seal, lead-through or transit for cables, wires or pipes which seal, lead-through or transit has one or more compressible parts surrounding the cable, etc. and a position of an opening receiving the cable, etc. is adjustable. In one example, the opening may be placed off-center on a partition line between two module parts. In other example, an inner compressible body may be placed inside an outer compressible body or between two module parts. The inner compressible body has an opening receiving the cable, etc. which opening is placed off-center. By rotating the inner compressible body the position of the opening receiving a cable, etc. is adjusted.

A compressible module having an axial groove for localization of a cable or pipe having at least two module sections or submodules having differing physical properties.

Pipe or cable lead-through having modularized modules

A frame for receiving one or more modules for cable entries or pipe penetrations. A compression unit is an integrated part of the frame in at least one embodiment, which compression unit is to compress the modules inside the frame. The compression unit includes three compression wedges. An upper and a lower compression wedge have the same orientation, while a middle compression wedge has an opposite orientation. The middle compression wedge is oriented with a broad side facing an opening of the frame receiving the modules. At least one compression screw goes through openings of the upper and lower compression wedges and through a slot in the middle compression wedge.

Transition frame with integrated compression unit

A cable lead-through is disclosed for a switch cabinet, electric cabinet or the like. In at least one embodiment, the cable lead-through is formed of two substantially identical lead-through halves. The lead-through halves are held together by way of two clamping devices. By placing the clamping devices in grooves of the lead-through halves, the cable lead-through is held together.

Cable lead-through device

A module forming a part of a lead-through or transit for cables, pipes or the like is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the module includes two base parts forming an outer part of the module. Two holding parts form an inner part of the module. Inside the inner part, formed of the two holding parts a cable or the like is received. The inner part of the module is received turnable inside the outer part of the module.

Frame for pipe penetration and cable entries

A conductor and a rotating electric high-voltage machine that includes the conductor has a cable configured for high-voltage operation. The cable may be included as a winding for the rotating electric high-voltage machine. The conductor includes a first strand that is clad with an electrically insulating layer, and a second strand that is uninsulated whereas the first strand and the second strand are arranged in two or more layers of strands. The two or more layers of strands are insulated from one another. Furthermore, the first and second layers of the two or more layers of strands are arranged around a central core where the central core is at least one of an air core and a core of another material. The second strand is positioned so as not to be electrically contacting any other uninsulated strand.
