The present invention relates inter alia to a transmitter arrangement (), in particular for radio communication, comprising at least two antenna elements (), spaced apart by a defined distance and a differential output amplifier () with a first output () coupled to a first () of the at least two antenna elements () and with a second inverted output () coupled to a second () of the at least two antenna elements (). A first transmission line element () is arranged between at least one of the first and second outputs () and the respective one of the at least two antenna elements () and is configured such that signals applied to respective input taps () of the at least two antenna elements () are substantially in-phase with each other.

Transmitter arrangement, transceiver, radio communication system and method

Transceiver switch circuitry having an antenna port, a receiver port and two transmitter ports. The transceiver switch circuitry is configured to be operable in a reception mode to allow reception signals at the antenna port to be forwarded to the receiver port, and in a transmission mode to allow transmission signals, having a center frequency with a wavelength λ, at the first transmitter port and the second transmitter port to be forwarded to the antenna port for transmission. The transceiver switch circuitry includes a receive arrangement comprising having a receiver λ/4 impedance transformer and a receiver switch circuitry configured to ground the first λ/4 impedance transformer at the receiver port in the transmission mode; and a transmit arrangement having three transmitter impedance transformers and a first and second transmitter switch circuitry configured to virtually ground a second side of the first λ/4 impedance transformer in the reception mode.

Transceiver switch circuitry

A method is described for initiating a wireless network to connect an electronic device among a set of first-type electronic devices with a second-type electronic device. The method comprising: receiving, at a service server configured to service the set of first-type electronic devices, data pertaining to a user-id; retrieving, from a database, a unique network configuration associated with the user-id, wherein the unique network configuration is known beforehand by the second-type electronic device; selecting, at the service server, an electronic device among the set of first-type electronic devices; and sending, to the selected electronic device, the unique network configuration associated with the user-id for allowing the selected electronic device to initiate a wireless network using the unique network configuration associated with the user-id.

Establishment of a wireless network

An antenna interface arrangement is disclosed for cancellation of a transmit signal at a receiver port of a transceiver. The antenna interface arrangement comprises a distributed transformer and an impedance. The distributed transformer has a primary side winding connectable to an antenna port of the transceiver and having a first part () and a second part (), a first secondary side winding () connectable to a transmitter port of the transceiver and having a first inductive coupling to the first part of the primary side winding, and a second secondary side winding () connectable to the receiver port of the transceiver and having a second inductive coupling to the second part of the primary side winding. The impedance () is connected between the first secondary side winding and the second secondary side winding. The first and second inductive couplings are adapted to provide a first version of the transmit signal at the receiver port, and the impedance is adapted to provide a second version of the transmit signal at the receiver port, for cancelling the first version of the transmit signal. In some embodiments, the antenna interface arrangement is also for cancellation of a received signal at the transmitter port of the transceiver. Corresponding transceiver and communication device are also disclosed. In some embodiments, the antenna interface arrangement is also for cancellation of a received signal at the transmitter port of the transceiver. Corresponding transceiver and communication device are also disclosed.

Antenna interface arrangement

A method of scheduling wireless data transmissions between a mobile terminal () and a base station using multiple component carrier signals is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: receiving in the mobile terminal information from the base station indicating available component carriers; detecting in the mobile terminal at least one dynamic parameter indicative of the mobile terminal's current ability to handle component carriers having non-contiguous bandwidths; determining in the mobile terminal in dependence of the at least one dynamic parameter which of the available component carriers to utilize; and transmitting from the mobile terminal to the base station information indicating the component carriers determined to utilize. By doing this the mobile terminal may choose to limit the number of component carriers used in situations where it is disadvantageous, such as situations where the power consumption of supporting multiple component carriers is high or situations where complex hardware is needed.

Scheduling data transmissions between a mobile terminal and a base station in a wireless communications network using component carriers

An antenna interface arrangement is disclosed for cancellation of a transmit signal at a receiver port of a transceiver. The antenna interface arrangement comprises an amplifier and a distributed transformer having a primary side winding, a first secondary side winding, and a second secondary side winding. The primary side winding is connectable to a transmitter port of the transceiver and has a first part () and a second part (), the first secondary side winding () is connectable to an antenna port of the transceiver and has a first inductive coupling to the first part of the primary side winding, and the second secondary side winding () is connectable to the receiver port of the transceiver and has a second inductive coupling to the second part of the primary side winding. The amplifier () has an input connected to the first secondary side winding and an output connected to the second secondary side winding. The second inductive coupling is adapted to provide a first version of the transmit signal at the receiver port, and the first inductive coupling and the amplifier are adapted to provide a second version of the transmit signal at the receiver port, for cancelling the first version of the transmit signal. Corresponding transceiver and communication device are also disclosed.

A method for re-provisioning a user equipment (UE,) after a first digital security certificate for the UE () has expired includes communicating content data to a controller () over a first secure communication channel after verification of a validity of a first digital security certificate. Once it is realized the first digital security certificate has expired, the UE () sends a certificate provisioning request message over an unsecure channel to the controller () as a request to the controller () to provision a second digital security certificate. The UE () signs the certificate provisioning request message with the private key for the now expired first digital security certificate. A second digital security certificate is signed by the rescue-secret private key at the controller () and sent to the UE (), which verifies its authenticity with the corresponding rescue-secret public key.

Method for re-provisioning a digital security certificate and a system and a non-transitory computer program product thereof

A power amplifier arrangement comprises a power amplifier comprising at least one transistor having a first gate and a second gate. The first gate is configured to receive a radio frequency input signal superimposed with a first control signal, and the second gate is configured to receive a second control signal. The first control signal is a linearization signal varying in relation to an envelope of the input signal and the second control signal is a temperature compensation signal varying in relation to a temperature of the power amplifier, or vice versa.

Power amplifier arrangement

A vehicle camera mirror system includes a CAN bus that carries vehicle parameter data having vehicle speed, steering angle, braking and/or engine RPM. A driver information system (DIS) graphically displays the vehicle parameter data to a driver, and a camera mirror system includes a camera which has a field of view at least one of Class II and Class IV views. A display is in communication with the camera and is configured to display the field of view, and a controller is in communication with the camera and the display. A wiring harness has first and second connectors that are respectively connected to the CAN bus and the DIS. The wiring harness includes a pigtail that has first and second wires that are electrically connected between the first and second connectors. The first and second wires are connected to the controller to provide the vehicle parameter data.

Camera mirror system vehicle integration

A power amplifier, for a transmitter circuit is disclosed, which comprises at least one field-effect transistor having a gate terminal and a bulk terminal. The at least one field-effect transistor is configured to receive an input voltage at the gate terminal and a dynamic bias voltage at the bulk terminal. The power amplifier comprises a bias-voltage generation circuit configured to generate the dynamic bias voltage as a nonlinear function of an envelope of input signal. The input voltage is a linear function of the input signal. The bias-voltage generation circuit comprises a rectifier circuit configured to generate a rectified input voltage and an amplifier circuit, operatively connected to the rectifier circuit, configured to generate the dynamic bias voltage based on the rectified input voltage. The amplifier circuit is a variable-gain amplifier circuit and the power amplifier comprises a control circuit configured to tune the gain of the amplifier circuit.

Power amplifier

The disclosure relates to arrangements for antenna interfaces configurable to efficiently support different communication modes. This is achieved by an antenna connection circuitfor a communication devicewherein the antenna connection circuitis configurable for communication modes. The antenna connection circuit comprises a first quarter-wave transformer qwcoupled between an antenna port A and an transmitter port Tx, and a second quarter-wave transformer qwcoupled between the antenna port A and a receiver port Rx. The antenna connection circuit further comprises a first ground switch scoupled between the receiver port Rx and a first ground connection g, and a second ground switch sis coupled between the transmitter port Tx and a second ground connection g. The antenna connection circuit further comprises a resistor R and a resistor switch scoupled in series between the receiver port Rx and the transmitter port Tx, and an inverting amplifier switch scoupled between the receiver port Rx and an input port Iof an inverting amplifier Amp, and an output port Oof the inverting amplifier Ampis coupled to the transmitter port Tx.

Antenna connection circuits

A method for assisting in synchronization of slave clocks in a communication network comprises receiving, in a node of the communication network, a message comprising a value of a synchronization accuracy (&#x3c3;) of a first upstream node in the communication network. A value of an accuracy (&#x3c3;) of a link latency unbalance between forward and reverse signalling in a link on which the node received the message is obtained. A value of a total synchronization accuracy (&#x3c3;) of the node comprises at least the accuracy (&#x3c3;) of the link latency unbalance of the link on which the node received the message is calculated. A node for assisting in synchronization of slave clocks in a communication network is also presented.

Methods and devices for synchronization in communication networks

A power amplifier () for a transmitter circuit () is disclosed. The power amplifier () comprises at least one field-effect transistor () having a gate terminal () and a bulk terminal (), wherein the at least one field-effect transistor () is configured to receive an input voltage at the gate terminal () and a dynamic bias voltage at the bulk terminal (). Furthermore, the power amplifier () comprises a bias-voltage generation circuit (). The input voltage is a linear function of an input signal. The bias-voltage generation circuit () is configured to generate the dynamic bias voltage as a nonlinear function of an envelope of the input signal.

A transceiver arrangement comprises a receiver arranged for frequency-division duplex communication; a transmitter arranged for frequency-division duplex communication; a transmission port for connecting to an antenna; a balancing impedance circuit arranged to provide an impedance arranged to mimic the impedance at the transmission port; and a filtering arrangement, which comprises filters of a first type and filters of a second type, connecting the receiver, transmitter, transmission port and balancing impedance circuit. The filters of the first type are arranged to pass signals at transmitter frequency and attenuate signals at receiver frequency and are connected between the transmitter and the transmission port and between the receiver and the balancing impedance circuit. The filters of the second type are arranged to attenuate signals at transmitter frequency and pass signals at receiver frequency and are connected between the transmitter and the balancing impedance circuit and between the receiver and the transmission port. A communication device is also disclosed.
