A strip of fastening elements having receiving elements and fastening elements received in the receiving elements is provided, the fastening elements each defining a fastening direction that is the same for all fastening elements, wherein the receiving elements are arranged in at least one row, which defines a transport direction, the at least one strip including a frontmost receiving element and a rearmost receiving element, wherein the fastening direction and the transport direction enclose an acute angle, wherein the strip of fastening elements has a support element for supporting the frontmost receiving element counter to the fastening direction and/or a counter-support element for supporting the rearmost receiving element in the fastening direction.

Strip of fastening elements

A device for driving fastening elements into a substrate comprises a setting channel; an energy transmission element, which can be moved in a fastening direction in the setting channel, for transmitting energy to one of the fastening elements at a time; and a magazine for transporting the fastening elements to the setting channel in a transport direction. The magazine is suitable for transporting multiple rows of fastening elements at once. Additionally, a fastening element strip comprises a plurality of rows of receptacles for fastening elements aligned in a transport direction and fastening elements which are housed in the receptacles and define a fastening direction, wherein the rows of receptacles are arranged one behind the other in a transverse direction oriented perpendicular to the transport direction and perpendicular to the fastening direction.

Driving device and fastening element strip

A fastener driving tool comprises a hand-held casing having a movable and drivable energy transmission element including a driving member, wherein the driving member acts to drive a fastener, a locking element, and a sensor member for determining an operational state of the fastener driving tool, wherein a driving process is released only if the operational state prevails, wherein the locking member is arranged in a locking manner in a path of the energy transmission element if the non-operational state prevails, wherein, once a driving process has been triggered, the locking member can stop the energy transmission element.

Fastener driving tool with safety lock

According to one aspect of the application, a device for driving a fastening element into a substrate has an energy-transfer element for transferring energy to the fastening element. The energy-transfer element can move preferably between a starting position and a setting position, wherein the energy-transfer element is located, before a driving-in procedure, in the starting position and, after the driving-in procedure, in the setting position. According to another aspect of the application, the device comprises a mechanical-energy storage device for storing mechanical energy. The energy-transfer element is then suitable preferably for transferring energy from the mechanical-energy storage device to the fastening element.

Driving device

A fastening element magazine strip is disclosed. The magazine strip having a carrier strip made of plastic extending along a longitudinal axis and formed over several carrier segments connected to one another. The carrier segments have at least one guide section with a guide diameter as well as feed-through openings, in which a respective fastening element is positionable. Projections project from the carrier strip to both sides of a plane defined by the carrier strip, and extend from their starting point on the carrier strip up to their free end over a length and feature a first width perpendicular to the length. The projections in the radial direction (as related to the longitudinal axis) project beyond the guide diameter. The projections are configured in at least one direction transverse to their longitudinal extension to be bendable.

Fastening element magazine strip

Fastening element for plate-shaped insulation element

A drill including a hammer mechanism (7) for generating axial blows to be imparted to a tool (6) receivable in a drill spindle, with the hammer mechanism (7) including a first cam disc (11) connected with the spindle (5) for joint rotation therewith, a second cam disc (12) supported in a drill housing (1) without a possibility of rotation relative thereto but with a possibility of axial displacement therein and having a projection (22) extending through the first cam disc (11) and into the spindle (5) for imparting the axial blows to the tool (6) which is received in the working spindle (5) with a possibility of a limited axial displacement relative thereto, a first spring (14) located between a surface (13) of the second cam disc (12) facing in the direction opposite to the drilling direction and a surface in the housing (1) facing in the drilling direction for biasing the second cam disc (12) into the drilling direction, a second spring (23) located between the surface (13) of the second cam disc (12) and a working surface (18) of the adjusting element (19) for further biasing the second cam disc (12) into the drilling direction and an operational point of which is displaced into an operating region of the first spring (14) by adjusting element (19) displaceable parallel to the drilling direction.

Drill with a hammer mechanism

A device for transmitting pulsed axial percussions to a drill (12) and including a housing (2) one end of which is releasably connectable with a housing (3) of a hand-held rotary drill, a rotation transmitting element (7, 9) rotatably supported within the housing (2) and operatively connected with a rotatable spindle (4), which projects from the rotary drill housing (3), for joint rotation therewith, a chuck (11) provided at an end of the device housing (2) opposite to the one end for receiving the drill (12), a reciprocating hammer member (15) movable into an abutting engagement with a trailing end of the drill (12), and a hammer mechanism (17-20; 21-24) arranged within the device housing (2) for imparting pulsed axial percussions to the hammer member (15) and connected with the rotation transmitting element (7, 9) for generating the pulsed axial percussions.

Device for transmitting pulsed axial percussions to a bore-forming tool

A percussion blow added manually operable drilling tool, such as a hammerdrill, has a housing (2) containing an electric motor for rotating a tool bit chuck (9) about its axis, a control device (C) for controlling the rpm of the chuck (9) operated by the electric motor (3) which is activated by a switch (5) located on the exterior of the housing (2), and a percussion blow mechanism for periodically applying axially directed blows to a bit (10) secured in the chuck (9). The electric motor (3) is coupled to a device (12) for measuring the reaction torque. The control device (C) is connected to an evaluation unit (E) which is connected to the device (12) for measuring the reaction torque so that the rpm of the chuck can be regulated from maintaining the measured reaction torque at a maximum.

Percussion blow added manually operable drilling tool

An electromotor including a stator (32) having a central receiving region for a rotor (23), at least two, projecting into the rotor-receiving region, stator pole pairs (18, 19, 20, 21), an insulation element (1, 2) provided at each end side of the stator (32), a stator winding (16, 17) surrounding a stator pole pair (18, 19, 20, 21) and a portion of a respective insulation element (1, 2), a permanent magnet (14, 15) between a pair of adjacent stator poles (18, 19, 20, 21), and dielectric support elements (7, 8) cooperating with respective insulation elements (1,2) and arranged along the main axis of the rotor-receiving region of the stator (32) between side surfaces (28, 29, 30, 31) of the stator poles (18, 19, 20, 21), which extend substantially parallel to the main axis of the rotor-receiving region of the stator (32) and to each other, and the stator windings (16, 17), respectively.

Electromotor

A device for testing the holding force of fastening elements secured in a base material includes an axially extending load application member (5) engageable within an axially extending impact member so that the impact member can be displaceable axially relative to the load application member. The load application member (1) has a coupling region (3) at a front end and a stop surface (4) spaced axially from the coupling region and facing towards the first end of the load application member. The impact member (2) has a central passageway in which at least part of the load application member is displaceable. The impact member (2) has a first stop surface (6) facing a second end of the impact member (2). The coupling region is substantially cylindrically shaped and has projections (14) which extend radially outwardly from the outside surface of the coupling region. The projections (14) can be deflected elastically.
