Apparatus and method for the insertion of films in tablet presses

The invention relates to a device for transferring, depositing and positioning films that are used as cores in coating-core tablets, in matrices of tablet presses, said device comprising at least three modules, a. module 1 () comprising at least one storage unit that contains the films, and/or at least one supply unit that supplies the films for transfer by a second module, b. module 2 () comprising at least one transfer unit, at least one conveyor belt () and at least one intake wheel (), c. module 3 () comprising at least one controllable vacuum head () which comprises a removal device that removes the films from the carriers () of module 2 () using a vacuum and deposits them in the matrices of the tablet press ().
