A reactor vessel () for biomass material, wherein said reactor vessel () is a pressurized reactor vessel, said reactor vessel being elongated and comprising: a substantially tubular vessel part (); two gables () connected one to each end () of the tubular vessel part (), hereby enclosing a vessel internal compartment (); and a material transporting screw () comprising a central shaft () provided within the vessel internal compartment () extending between the two gables () along a central axis (A) of the reactor vessel (), wherein said material transporting screw further comprises screw flight () provided around the shaft (), wherein said material transporting screw is configured for transporting the biomass material through the reactor vessel, wherein both gables () are inwardly dished.

Reactor vessel for biomass material

A dewatering roll () comprises a roll body (), a mantle support structure () and a mantle (). The mantle support structure () is attached around the roll body (). The mantle () is attached against an outer surface () of the mantle support structure (). The mantle () has a plurality of through holes () constituting mantle flow paths (). The mantle support structure () presents support flow paths () from the outer surface () of the mantle support structure (). The support flow paths () are in fluid contact with the mantle flow paths (). The outer surface () of the mantle support structure () has a static geometric shape defining an envelope having a smaller radius in vicinity of each axial end () than in vicinity of a center (). A screw conveyor for transporting lignocellulose-containing material, including a housing containing a screw for transporting the lignocellulose-containing material from the inlet to the outlet of the housing, the screw including a screw core disposed along the screw axis and a screw thread surrounding the screw core, the screw thread including a screw depth defined by the distance between the periphery of the screw and the screw core, the inlet including at least one transverse plate dividing the inlet into at least two axial compartments for evenly distributing the lignocellulose-containing material at the inlet. A method for transporting lignocellulose-containing material by the screw conveyor, in which the axial length of the screw inlet being equal to or greater than the screw depth times the quotient between the axial speed of the screw and the incoming speed of the lignocellulose-containing material at the inlet.
